AWESOME PEOPLE! AWESOME PRODUCTS!. This place was wonderful! There are so many different beads to look at, that I know on my first visit I did not see it all! You can even get ideas of what to make just by looking at the many pieces of jewelry made up or by talking to the people in the store. A variety of classes are available with a show case housing the items premade. I thought that was awesome so that I can see the item first hand before taking a class. Anyone who beads, even newbies, surely would not be so rude as to purchase supplies elsewhere to attend a class at the store offering it. And a crimp tool, that is one of the number one tools a beader needs! How awesome that I can go into a bead store and purchase all of my supplies at one place, tools included. I'm sure if something didn't work out for me, the owner would be more than happy to refund my purchase or help me to find something that does work for me. I spent a lot of time in this store on my first visit. These people greet you as soon as you walk in, and can't do enough for you, unlike another store that I recently visited. Rest assured, I will travel an hour's drive to return to this great find! Thanks for being so helpful and friendly! Thanks for being! Your new friend, Deb
AWESOME CLASSES and GREAT people!. I love the BB...the staff always greet me with a smile and the SIX classes I have taken from them gave me the knowledge that now allows me to make jewelry which I sell in crafts fairs and make for family and friends. Come in and see all the classes that are being offered, and sign up and you are on your way. They give personal service you can pick out your supplies for each class from any of the staff - (NOT just the owner). If you see a pice of jewelry that you want to make, bring it in and let them help you learn to make it! The sky is the limit!
Disappointed...Will not return.
My daughter-in-law, 5 foot 2 and 90 lbs., took two classes from this shop. Apparently, the rule is you meet with the 'owner' to pick out and purchase the beads you will use for that night's class. Although she was unavoidably delayed at work and arrived late, she enjoyed both Mon. and Tues. night classes and had signed up to take two more. However, after the Tues. night class, after everyone in the class was gone, she was reprimanded by the owner for showing up late (for which she apologized), but also for bringing all her supplies which were not purchased from his store and, after being asked by another classmate where she bought such pretty beads, for mentioning the name of another business where she had previously purchased her beads and tools. He then insisted she buy a crimping tool from 'his' store before she left that night. Needless to say, she felt intimidated and humiliated.
The following day, she returned to ask that her money be returned for the the two upcoming classes for which she had already paid. The owner mailed her back her checks, but she now owns a pair of 'crimpers' that she didn't necessarily want!
No customer should be treated this way....Whatever happened to "The Customer is Always Right" motto....
