I have created accounts on four different websites with the specific and singular intention of writing a review of Team Nashville. I just feel that strongly about the service that I received here. I personally dealt with Terry who is not only a true master of his craft but a true gentleman as well. In a world where politeness and common courtesy and basic human decency are becoming harder and harder to come by, Terry restores your faith in humanity. This was the best customer experience I have ever had, and needless to say I will go out of my way to only do my shopping here from now on and I highly recommend that you do the same.
Helped fit me for my first marathon. A good pair of running shoes makes a difference!
Great Service. My friends finally talked me into training for the 1/2 marathon. I had done a couple of 5ks and even walked a 1/2 marathon in shoes I bought at discount stores, but thought I needed a proper fitting for running a longer distance. The guys here are great. They know their shoes, and I ran 9 miles on Saturday after buying my shoes there. My feet and knees feel so much better than normal for a couple of days after a long run. I can't believe what I've been missing. Will definitely be back, and maybe they can sell me marathon shoes for next year when I plan on doing the full one.
Knowledgable Running Store. I have been in this store many times and always have a good time there. Nashville Strider members get 10% off and that is why I first went there. The old store was crammed full of a lot of material and now in the new store things are spaced out well. Terry is friendly and knowledgable and knows what shoes I need. He will watch you run and help you find what you need.
Personal Service - Obvious Command of Products and Trusted Coaches. Get great running advice and top shelf products from Robert and Terry. These are the owners who both run every day and are working their store every day, offering personal service... It's a great place. It's not a "big corporate store" feel -- rather it's a "performance personal" feel. That's what Nashville has enjoyed for 26 years!! While you're there, pick up a pair of Swiftwick socks (ultra long distance runners love these no blister wicking socks lovingly made in Tennessee) because these socks are custom made and really hard to get. REMEMBER: TEAM NASHVILLE HAS MOVED - down the street, to 3205 West End Avenue. A spacious new store, comfortable and open. Every customer I saw walking in on Saturday was that much happier when they walked out - new shoes in hand, socks and running gear... all at a fair price. Everyone wins at Team Nashville!
Editorial Review. The store, co-owned by famed coach Robert Eslick, caters to runners and triathletes, so it's a popular spot for athletic shoes.
