Good restaurant. Many Japanese students have lunch here. it is reasonable and most close to Japanese food in terms of taste. Especially, Katsudon is fine. It is almost same Japanese can enjoy in Japan.
Good sushi, but there's much better. Ken's sushi is fairly decent and a good value. The restaurant is small and if you show up during lunch time with a party over 4, you have to sit in smoking. A quick walk from Vanderbilt so it makes it an easy choice.
The BesT for Sushi!. I've been to Ken Sushi many times.. well, I can say at least once a week.. Ken's has the best sushi! The service is great and the food is excellent! They're really friendly people. You can even ask for special sushi too. Try it and I guarantee you'll love that place! Now Ken has its own 'karaoke box' too just like in Japan..
Fantastic Each and Every Time. I have eaten at Ken's many, many times and have never been disappointed. It is a favorite of mine for both dine-in and take-out. While the ambience may be somewhat lacking, the food is always fresh and wonderful. I recommend Ken's to anyone looking for fresh, well-prepared Japanese cuisine and sushi.
Yum!. What a great place to go for Sushi on the run. The service is fast and the food is great.
Intriguing. Inexpensive...diverse...comfortable...chummy... cozy...good food...slow service at times... easy going environment if you've never been in a Japanese restaurant or sushi bar
great place. This place is good, but not the best in town. I like the rice better than the fish. The ambiance is a little "collegey" too. Ken's a great guy.
great sushi. probably the best sushi in nashville. it's not as expensive as most and the portions are larger. it can get crowded @ times and the parking can be tricky. however, the food definently is worth the trip.
Ken's. I don't like sushi so I was hesitant at first to go in there. So I ordered the beef teryaki and it was the best teryaki I have ever had! They have a great selection for sushi lovers and non-sushi lovers. And try the green tea ice cream too.
Tasty and Friendly. Every time that I have visited Ken's I have had a pleasant experience. In my opinion, it is one of the top three sushi restaurants Nashville, but I would hesitate to give it the number one spot. If you want nigiri, I personally think Taste of Tokyo (just down the street) is a better value, but there is a lot to be said for the personality at Ken's. I have no qualms forking over an extra $0.75 per piece to dine at here. Top quality.
