I like it.. I live in the '09 and there is NO good Chinese delivery. ...except for Dragon Garden. See what I did there? I read some of the other reviews and I think they are being a little unfair. I don't think cultural differences and/or language barriers can really be counted as rudeness or unprofessional conduct. The food is fantastic for the price and the delivery time issues others seem to be having are NOT universal. It may depend on how far away you live from the restaurant. Whenever I order their food it is routinely here within 25-30 minutes. Once or twice it arrived in under 20 minutes. I don't even know how they can cook it that fast. Not that I'd mind waiting longer as the quality of the food is very good. I've had worse food for which I've waited longer and paid more, I can tell you that much for certain. Eat it. You'll be glad you did.

Don't be misled by their "rudeness". I have loved Dragon Garden since they first opened on West End. They didn't deliver to my house until they moved to Charlotte though. I have always loved Dragon Garden! No, it's not Goten or anything, but it's definitely a step up from your basic Chinese buffet. I have read a lot of the other reviews and let me just say, don't be misled by their "rudeness" or their "unprofessionalism" of their son answering the phone. I have interacted with these people for years. They are very kind and have always treated me with respect, I have never had any kind of billing problem with them. And honestly, their son just speaks better English than the owners do. When they were on West End, they had an older son that went to Hume Fogg. He pretty much ran the shop, I didn't think poorly of it. He was always just studying and answering the phone. Seemed disciplined line a bright kid. I assumed they're doing the same thing with their younger son too. AND the kids have never gotten my order wrong. The only thing I can really complain about is the delivery. They used to have a great guy that was very punctual and friendly. However, now it absolutely sucks. I do recommend just going and picking it up if your in the vicinity.

One of the best chinese food. First time when i came to their new adress which is 4912 Charlotte Pike, it was great. The food was good especially the genral tso' chicken i had it tasted.Their kid seems nice to everyone there when i was there to be honest and i would recomend you people to come and order chinese from there cause it is good stuff. By the way sometimes about the delivery, it might take a while just around 45 mins - 1hr for mine to get here.

pros & cons. I agree with everyone about their kid answering the phone. We are new to nashville and tried 5 different chinese restaurants before settling on this one. This first time I tried it I ordered mooshu pork and hot and sour soup. Would not recommend either of these. However, I was introduced to their garlic chicken which is pretty good. The combination comes with an egg roll and pork fried rice for under 7. I can't ever finish it all. If you are in the neighborhood and want food delivered it's a good place. However, if you live/work somewhere that is not near by - i would not recommend. There are only 3 of them working there - you can't expect fast delivery, especially around a busy lunch time. And careful with what you order - some is good and some is bad. It's a hole in the wall chinese place. Don't expect greatness.

Annoyed. They are the only Chinese restaurant that delivers where I live and I've had two bad experiences. The first time, the lobster lo mein was fine except for one little thing. There was no lobster. It was crawfish. Luckily, I love crawfish, so I just laughed about it. Did they really think no one could tell the difference? And the hot and sour soup was... gross. I couldn't pin down what was wrong with it, but it was gross.

The second time, I asked for a simple substitution of rice noodles instead of rice. I was ready to pay a little more for it, but they said no. I have no idea why they couldn't. The rice is cooked separately as are the noodles. And usually, with the dish I ordered, they just spoon the part with the meat and veggies on top of the rice and call it a day. So what's the difference? Spoon it onto the noodles instead of the rice and charge me for all the trouble it causes you! There was no reason to say no, so I just said "no thank you" and hung up.

I give up. No Chinese delivery until I move *sigh*.
