Hole in the wall at it's best. Rotier's has a great local atmosphere with the best burgers in town- hands down- shakes are good...home cooked veggies are tasty- you can make the meal healthy, but it wouldn't be any fun...if you are up for great food, fun, and local atmosphere, this is the place- a great date spot if you want to add some personality to it- get the burger on french bread! yumyum

mouth watering. Rotier's has the very best burger, by far. Sometimes for lunch we drive all the way down there from Elm Hill Pike. Simply delicious!

Truly Nashville's Burger Place. Others may come and go, claiming to be the top bit of ground beef in town, but the best burgers (especially cheeseburgers on french bread!) Nashville style are found at Rotiers's. Let Miss Elizabeth and her friendly staff serve up a Music City original to you the next time you're in the Vandy/West End area!

Easily the Best!. Rotier's is far and away the best place to go for a hamburger in Tennessee. I'm from Memphis and will even travel to Nashville just to grab a cheeseburger from Rotier's on a nice day.

over- rated. With all the hype that surrounds a Rotier's burger- there is not really much to it. It is pretty basic, on "french bread" that is not really french bread - and all a little too expensive for the quality of the burger. It is like you are paying for the nostalgia as well.

If its good enough for Jimmy Buffett. Jimmy Buffett voted Rotier's one of the top 10 cheeseburgers in the world, this from a man who knows a little something about the subject. I have not found anything else in Nashville that holds a candle to a cheeseburger, fries and chocolate shake at Rotier's.
