In Short
Though the cavernous dining room is dimly lit--and the menu is upscale--this Italian restaurant on West End retains a laidback, American family vibe. Health-conscious diners will appreciate several low-carb options on the menu, including flame-grilled pork tenderloin and chicken marsala. The menu is also notable for its eight varieties of Mediterranean-style salad as well as its standout wood-fired pizzas. A dark wood-paneled bar area near the door is great for meeting friends before dinner.

My friend and I had a good time at Amerigo. I ordered the Cannelloni Al Forno and It was delicious and the Creme Brule Cheesecake was awsome. It was so big that I couldn't eat all of it. Our waiter Stefan was very nice too. I will definitely be back.

The food has always been good. The smoked duck and sausage pasta is spicy and delicious. The lighting has always been bad. If you enjoy sqinting to see your date, ignore previous sentence. The prices have always seemed a bit inflated. The aforementioned pasta dish is $13 with no sides, salads, etc. You decide.

My husband and I went to Amerigo last time we were in Nashville. We found it through this citysearch site. The food was great and the price was very reasonable. We didn't see any country music stars, but I bet some of them frequent this place. We would if we lived in Nashville!
