In Short – When local rockers take a shot at the brass ring, they usually play their homecoming shows at 12th & Porter. The club isn't afraid to push the envelope with tributes to Led Zeppelin, Ziggy Stardust or "Rocky Horror Picture Show." For something less glittery, keep an eye out for popular local indie, alternative and R&B acts--especially when they're still local. A creative, dessert-centered martini list includes a Pomegranatini and a Wildberry cosmo.

The place can be difficult when a show is going on, go anytime else and it's a breeze to get into. The food is without a doubt some of the best in Nashville.... Try the Pasta YaYa, it is unbelieveable. You can pay a LOT more and not get food half as good... for instance, the Pub of Love across the street costs about 4 times as much for food just as good at best, probably because it's the same cook staff (my guess.)
I love to go here, and always take friends on special occasions, or just to hang out and grab some excellent food.

Great menu, a little crowded

We went there last weekend, for a tow couple dinner, and I think there was an art show going on or something, but there were alot of trendy art-goers milling through the dining room, weaving in an out of the tables, while we were trying to eat. It was rather annoying, and louder than hell, but our waitress was AWESOME, and very accomodating. The food was great and the server made the experience positive. I will be there again. Try the filet with brown sauce.

Parking:
Park in the first lot on your left off Porter Avenue. It's well-lit, always open and 30 feet from the club.
Where to Sit:
The first row of the balcony offers the best seats in the house.
