Hotels >Loews Vanderbilt Hotel
Home Sweet Loews. This hotel is a treat! During our 4-day stay, the staff remembered us by name both day and night; the concierge staff were some of the best I've ever worked with! The musical references "hidden" around the hotel were fun to look for and the lobby jukebox had an element of fun that was very representative of Nashville. It probably helped that we were visiting in June (Vanderbilt University was quiet) but we can't wait to come back!
Business Amenities. I live in the Nashville area and I am an accountant. I stay here a couple of times per year to complete yearly projects. This has to be the best hotel by far I have ever stayed in. Service is absolutely the best I have ever experienced. They allow pets too! They give my golden special treatment as well! The only con I have is the charges on the business services. They are not in line with other hotels. High speed internet services are free in other hotels and the charge here is a bit extreme. To receive or send faxes are as well. You pay for all the niceties you receive and this should be part of it. These charges will make me think twice before staying with them on my business trips.
Romance in the City!. This hotel is so romantic! Everything is so luxurious. This is my second stay and it was even better than the first. You cannot possibly beat the great service here. The real grass in the lobby adds a great comedic touch to a seriously classy hotel.
Luxury With a Smile. This is the first time I have stayed at a Loews Hotel, as I normally stay at Ritz or Four Seasons. I was told to stay at Loews when in Nashville and I am glad I did. Excellent hotel, with a staff who really cares about you. Makes all the difference. I'll now look for Loews in other cities.
EAT in DRINK in EAT. It's not just your ordinary hotel. It's fun and it starts before you even step in the door. The lions are complete with cloaks for every occasion - they even have raincoats! There's a video showing on the screen, a juke box to play, grass growing in the lobby. We were really impressed with the warm greetings and smiles we received from the staff. This place really knows how to treat their guests!
So cool. From the moment you walk in you know this place is different. The lobby is beautiful, an experience itself, with real grass and hall of fame displays. I loved the juke-box with cd's of their previous guests. Lots of music industry types around. Down comforters in the room a nice touch too! If you go for the weekend don't leave without checking out the Sunday Brunch, the best around.
I've got friends in Loews places.. The Loews Vanderbilt Hotel really is considered a "home away from home" to many, both far and near. Celebrities from many fields including politics, medicine, music, film and business wouldn't think of staying anywhere else in Nashville! Many of these individuals are on a first name basis with the staff. Guests always know they are treated like they own the hotel and any request they may have will be accommodated without question. Locals attend the most important charity galas year round, in Nashville, in the lavish ballroom of the Loews Vanderbilt. eat, the restaurant at Loews Vanderbilt, offers another favorite venue of locals, the finest Sunday Brunch fare in Nashville.
