One of the country's most successful steakhouse empires attracts a casual crowd with huge, reasonably priced steak dinners and a tempered Texan milieu (country music and imposing cattle busts). Wise diners turn off their internal calorie counters, as many menu items arrive fried, covered in cheese, or both. A typically rich meal starts with cheese fries, followed by a blue cheese-crusted fillet. Fried cheesecake ends the night on a note of Texas-sized decadence.

Great steaks!. The old traditional steakhouse crowd should really try this place. They would be surprised at the quality of steaks. Service is always great. Smoking is still a problem. The afternoon bar crowd is probably the only reason they haven't considered non-smoking. The food side has potentially a lot of appeal, but suffers a bit from the bar smoke.
