What People Are Saying About Buffalo Billiards

In Short – This Western-themed joint has 24 regulation-sized pool tables, four foosball tables and six dart boards to entertain. Wild Wild West posters hang on the walls, while large windows afford views of Second Avenue. Not a whole lot of serious pool players frequent Buffalo Billiards. Rather, 20-somethings come out to shoot a game or two, drink a beer and have a good time. To complement brews, an appetizer menu offers buffalo wings, nachos and the like.
Editor's Tips
- Know Before You Go:
- If you don't like cigar smoke, reserve a table in the early evening before the smoking crowd takes over.

- Stop in for daily drink specials from 4pm to 8pm weekdays.
The friendliest bar in Nashville
by GFresh at Citysearch
I just started going back to Buffalo Billiards after living out of state for a while. WOW! This place was AWESOME! Great drink specials, tons of t.v.'s to watch my favorite teams, and the best bar staff I've ever seen. They were so friendly and helpful. It was like they couldn't wait to get me a drink. I used to go to Buffalo back in the day, but it's like a different place now. It's not as crowded and again, the staff is great!
Cool jukebox to play whatever song you might want to hear.
I would recommend this bar to anyone whose looking for a great time, cheap drinks and cool people. I will be back...weekly!
- Pros: Prices, service, atmoshere
- Cons: None

Good pool tables

The sticks were straight and in good condition. The tables seemed level. The decor is a little musty, but overall its a fun place to shoot pool. The table ledge along the wall is a great place for resting drinks and pitchers.
- Pros: Pool tables and beer
- Cons: food, parking

Visiting Nashville for the first time in March this year, we had lots to see and do, amongst which included finding somewhere to play some pool. We came across Buffalo Billiards one afternoon, and found the staff very helpful in the way they explained the way things worked as far as paying for your games etc. After that initial visit, it became a regular haunt most afternoons we were Downtown. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.
- Pros: helpful staff, polite staff, value for money
