Amazing Band!. We happened across the Bourbon Street Blues & Boogie Bar and decided to stay for the show... Boy, were we glad we did! At first it appeared all the good seats were reserved, but after inquiring with the waitress, she found that two members of a reserved party had not shown, and moved us into some excellent seats directly above the band! Stacey Mitchhart and Blues U Can Use kept us bobbin' all night!! It's great to see a band that is so talented and enthusiastic!! Best show I've seen in years!!

Nashville's premier blues venue attracts tourists and locals alike.. In Short
Printer's Alley was once Nashville's most thriving nightclub scene, and this raucous blues club helps keep that legacy alive. The bar, which aims to transport visitors to New Orleans with its Crescent City decor, also serves up New Orleans style Cajun cuisine. The kitchen stays open until midnight. The house band, Stacey Mitchhart and Blues U Can Use, plays several times a week, and their smoking set has attracted a wide following.

Great Live Music. Nice little bar....very smokey. But the band I saw "Charles Mack Band" from Chicago last November was absolutely the best. They played blues with funk, soul and a little rock thrown in. Alot of original music also. The dance floor was packed all nite long. They are playing again Dec 15 & 16 and I am going to be there both nights with friends.

Can't beat Stacy Mitchhart. Found Printers Alley late on Thursday evening. Bourbon Street Blues was the only place selling food & It was great !! You couldn't beat the live entertainment either! Stacy Mitchhart and his out of this world blues band rocked the house. It's a don't miss!

Cool Little Spot!. The Blues Bar (what I like to call it) it a cool little bar on Printers Ally. It is small and somewhat smokey but hey its a bar! But even that it is still a cool little place. The bands are great and it is a awesome place to hang with your friends have some drinks and hear some great Blues!

Great Potential. This bar has the greatest potential in town. But it's high cost of cover, terribly smokey and stuffy environment, mediocre food, has kept it from being a MUST stop on the music scene. Neat interior, very reminiscent of New Orleans, and hot bands is definitely a plus. Their policy of reserving tables up front, keeps most of us upstairs in the back, which is Definitely not worth the $10 cover!

Great Music, smoke filled. Great music, but the place has no oxygen. Very smoke filled. Though some say the food is good there is no way you could taste it in such smoke. Definitely a party-feel to the place, but also feels like a fire-trap.

Great Mardi Gras party. If you've never been to Bourbon St. Blues & Boogie Bar on Fat Tuesday, you're missing out. I wish it had a slightly younger crowd, but most 20-somethings aren't into the blues scene. Fortunately , inhibitions are out the door at this bar, so buy some beads to throw at the ladies. They won't disappoint you.

Let the Good Times Roll. A lot of the "old South" and "old Nashville" atmosphere in this Bar. Gives one a sense of comfort and familiarity. The longer I live here, the more I have come to appreciate it's charm and quirks.

Hey, it's Nashville, and as I once heard Willie Nelson say, there only used to be 2 places to play music in Nashville - The Ryman and The Alley!

God bless us everyone!
