Great Plumbing Company. Bill Choate & Son Plumbing was a great company to use! I placed the call to their secretary who was very polite and took down my information. She had one of the employees out to my rental house within the hour. My tenants were very pleased with his work. He fixed the toilet and the garbage disposal while he was there. They were very reasonable on their prices even with the extended drive. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a good plumbing company.

Nicest Plumbers in the area. I have had both Bill Choate & his Son in my home working on various problems and not once have I had a bad experience. They are both very polite men that my husband and I both trust to have in our home. Last I had them fix my bath tub drain, the kitchen sink faucet had been leaking, & a loose toilet.

They made me aware of their prices before they walked in the door & the invoice was detailed in how much they charged.

They always remove their shoes and clean up after themselves when needed. I also have recommended them to several family members of mine who have also been completely satisfied.

To the writer of "really?" I have never heard of a company that you do not pay immediately for their service. Do you go out to eat and not pay for your food? I can't imagne how embarrassing it was for you that he HAD to show up on your doorstep to receive his payment. That should be something that had already been taken care of on your part I would think?

I think very highly of this company & would and DO recommend this company for your plumbing services.

Yes, Really. I totally disagree with the previous review on this business. It does not appear that he shopped around for hourly rates for good, reputable plumbers. $134.00 an hour is very reasonable! I checked with other reputable and recommended plumbers, and their rates were as high as $185.00 an hour.

They provided me with itemizations for all their work and materials. It's amazing how accomodating people can be if you are actually polite and ask nicely!

As for demanding payment when they provided their services, isn't this common practice among various professionals? I know that when you go anywhere for services of any kind, payment is due when services are rendered. If businesses just let people pay for services they requested at their (the customer's) leisure, these businesses would most likely not get paid.

If you have a problem with what you are being charged, shop around first. If it is more than you are wanting to pay, go get a DIY book or one of those Guides for Dummies.

Mr. Choate was very professional, friendly and did top notch work. I, nor my husband, could not be happier with this company and will recommend to friends, family and anyone needing plumbing work done.

Really?. With an hourly rate (not quoted) of 134 dollars this company is obviously run by PhD's of plumbing. Doctors. Seriously. 134 dollars. The owner also showed up on my doorstep because we requested an itemized list that he did not provide in his invoice. Like a plumbing thug he demanded we pay him on the spot. Save yourself the hassle and the money, and do NOT work with this company.
