Easy Shopping

I had long hair before my accident, but ended up with a short wig because it brings out my best features. It's totaly different than what I thought would look good. The sales lady, Janell, was very helpful and allowed me to set up a payment plan as well as try on as many wigs as I wanted before I found the right one. Once I found a wig I wanted, she taught me how to put it on myself, how to style it, and how to care for it. I checked the price I payed at Old Hickory compared to online vendors, and the price is spot on. The place is aliitle run down, and many of the wigs are older styles, but I found a great product for a 20 something year old that makes me look young and still vibrant. Old Hickory sells high end products, so be prepared to pay for the product as well as the service - which is worth it.
- Pros: Easy to get to, sales person, quality products
Run away!!!

This conveniently-located yet run-down looking shop was an unpleasant shock to the senses. Inside, it's definitely your grandmother's wig shop. A pushy saleslady tried to get me to buy the wig they had in stock that looked the closest to my own hair rather than trying to find out what I really wanted and needed. A diagnosis of breast cancer and knowing you're going to lose your hair is hard enough without having something shoved down your throat you don't want. RUN AWAY! There are much better wig shops in Nashville!!! I was exhausted when I left!
- Pros: Location
- Cons: Everything else.
