Best Meat and Three in Country.
I went to this cafe on saturday and its the very best home cooking I've ever had even my own cooking. It is the best kept secret in our area. I wish it was opened on sunday. I drive back on monday for lunch again because it was so good. I drove 20 miles just to eat there and I will be going back very soon

Slammin' Southern Food.
This place is awesome. The food is true southern food. The barbecue pork, mac n' cheese, and fried okra are out of this world. The portion sizes are good. The only negative is there is not alot of dining room and it fills up quickly during lunch hours.

Best chess pie anywhere!!!.
The catfish was super good! The chess pie would literally melt in your mouth and was fixed to perfection. The tea was not too sweet, the dressing was moist and great, the ribs were savory and tender. There was nothing negative to say about the food that was served. The only negative thing about the whole dining experience is the lack of space for all the customers waiting in line. Some of the very best home cooking I have ever eaten, and I am looking forward to going back again and again.

Great southern food for great price..
Definitely a place where the locales eat. Traditional "Meat and 3" choices. During lunch, expect long lines for the food (also indicates how good the food is). Unfortunately seating is very limited. The place from the exterior looks like another "hole in the wall" but it really is the food you're coming for.

One of the last true Southern meat-and-three cafeterias, this place is legendary..
In Short
What used to be referred to as "soul food" has evolved into more typical Southern fare, popular with local politicos who fill the lunchroom every day. Five meats and nine vegetables are served daily, ranging from turkey and dressing to mac and cheese. Meals are enjoyed with sweet tea with your meal and finished with chess pie.
