Awesome Sushi, Awesome Staff!. I love this restaurant and eat here as often as possible. The owners are very polite and friendly, and customer service is excellent. I like to sample different things when I come here, but I love the Wasabi Shu-Mai (dumplings) and all of the sushi I've tried. My favorite sushi would probably be the Philli roll, the Yummy-Yummy Roll, or the Veggie Roll. I also find it very reasonably priced.

I'm not sure how the previous poster got a $40.00 tab with what she ordered; I've ordered three rolls, an appetizer, and a drink and come in around $20-$25 before, depending on what it is I order. The spicy tuna roll is $5.95, and the veggie and the cucumber rolls are $4.95, IF I remember correctly, and the edamame shouldn't have been more than $5-$6 dollars, and sodas are like, $1.50 I think (I usually just drink water), so their tab with a tip should have been around $30, not $40.

For comparison's sake, I have been to sushi restaurants in other areas, and seen much more expensive pricing--for example, $7 for a tuna roll (with only tuna, nori, and rice) half the size of what they serve at Sushin, so I definitely think the pricing is fair.

The quality of the food is also excellent. The wasabi is never bland or pasty, and you can ask for extra wasabi and ginger, too. The free appetizer dishes they bring out are also always good, but I don't think you can order a larger portion of any of them from the menu. I've also tried the onigiri (rice balls) and enjoyed them, and my family loves the Bento box lunches and fried rice. The only thing I have ordered that I didn't really like are the Japanese pickles, but I was still glad I tried them.

All in all, this is my favorite restaurant in Murfreesboro. I've recently moved from the area, and still try to eat here whenever I am passing through--it's just that good.

Not worth the trouble. I have heard this is the best place for sushi in Murfreesboro. I wanted to try it, but I never got the chance until recently. My sister and I went, and we got a spicy tuna roll, california roll, and cucumber roll. It took forever for our food to arrive, maybe 30 minutes.

When we got our food, it was bland and tasteless. I know sushi should be served at room temp, but this was almost warm. It just was not good.

I want to say that for three rolls, a diet coke, and some edamame it was like 40 bucks with tip. It was way too expensive.

I dont know what all the hype is about. I think people just want to like this place because it's authentic. But it's not good, and youd be better off going to one of the new places...wasabi, samurai, cathay, etc.

Authentic sushi. Ultrafresh food.. Feel fortunate that Murfreesboro does have a high quality sushi place (was not expecting one when we moved near here). Numerous great tasting rolls, have great selection of Bento boxes, etc. Definitely the best place for sushi in Murfreesboro.

Great tasting sushi in Middle TN. I found this place after asking friends in M'boro where a good sushi place is, as they are VERY HARD TO FIND in the area. I was advised to go to Sushin and boy, was I glad I did. The menu has something for everyone and even for the advanced sushi eater, such as myself. I had the soft shell crab sushi along with the Ungari, which was really great. You can also find fish dishes for the less than adventurous, such as many teriyaki and tempura dishes. You won't go away hungry or disappointed. The staff is really knowledgeable and very nice. Small, quiet and clean restaurant with a nice intimate sushi bar in the back. Highly recommended.
