Though we haven't purchased an engagement ring from American Jewelry Co. YET, we are blown away with how great they are. We had visited the Smyrna store twice looking for a particular ring and, though they did not have it in store, we loved that the ladies there were not pushy and actually seemed to care about getting us the ring we wanted. I went home and emailed the Mt. Juliet store to see if they had the ring I was looking for, they didn't, but Ryan was quick to contact his Tacori rep and had the ring shipped in just so I can see it and try it on in person - no strings attached!! Needless to say, it's THE ring and he spent a lot of time with us discussing the ring and different diamond options. Everyone we have come in contact with at American Jewelry Co. has been very personable and made us feel comfortable. We had been on a manhunt all over Middle TN for this ring. The larger Tacori retailers around Nashville (ahem...GENESIS) made the ring shopping experience terrible for us, so even if they had had the ring - we already decided we would order it from American Jewelry Co. anyways! They definitely won us over!

Surprised at the poor customer service. I took some family jewelry to be repaired and asked that they be finished in time to be given for a birthday gift. They assured me it would be finished the day before I actually needed it. It wasn't.

Since they have such a large investment in their store at Providence, I had high expectations for customer service.

I'm sure that to be around for several years, most custmers have had positive experiences, but this one was my first and was not a good one so I will be going elsewhere for future needs.

Very welcoming atmosphere.. I stopped in to ask a few questions, knowing I could trust the answers I recieved. Just walking in, I was greeted by several employees, and asked if I needed assistance. Having known Ryan since HS, I wanted to speak with him regarding a couple of pieces. His answers were straight-forward, honest, and understandable. While I chose not to make a purchase at this time (due to the economy), I expect to bring my business back when things improve.

great poeple to do business with for 30 years. Dwight and Billie are the absoloute best. the kind of people you would want for a reliarive. price, quality, down home service and excellence is all i can say and most of all, it's the same great way all the time. nothing is too much trouble for these guys. enough said, THEY ARE INDEED NASHVILLE'S PREMIER JEWELER !!!!!

Thanks Dwight and Billie for 36 great years....They will show you what customer care is really all about !

Incredible jewelry store. I disagree totally with the negative comment. Dwight and his staff are a pleasure to work with and will do whatever necessary to please their hard-earned customers. You don't stay in business as long as they have otherwise. Their service is second to none and the selection can't be beat by anyone. Every store offers diamonds of all qualities to meet the needs of the individual buyer, so if you bought a diamond that was not perfect, it is what you chose. I know they also carry very high quality diamonds of all sizes, so the last person's post is inaccurate. I can promise that Dwight wasn't making it "right", but more trying to make you happy. Dwight always does things right, so there is no need for him to make it "right". American Jewelry will also take care of you for a lifetime, I can attest to that. The negative post from KB is inaccurate and not justified. I hope the truth helps you with your purchasing

Don't trust them!. Being a small town jewelry store my family always went to them. We thought they were good honest people! So when it came time to buy my ring we trusted Dwight would take care of us. Found a flaw in my ring without the loop. So to make it 'right' he gave me a 'good deal' on the band. He sold me low quality diamonds that are yellow compared to my other ones!!!

Then I call and see if they will rodium the silver and they only cover that for 2 years from purchase!!!

Trust me when I saw it is worth it to go to ShaneCo or Genisis Diamonds that will take care of you for the lifetime of your jewelry. I drive 30-45 mins because it is worth it. I hope this helps you on your purchasing.
