One of the top dance studios in the country. I have 4 kids at Hermitage Dance Academy and its the top studio in TN and ranked number 8 in the nation for good reason. The dancers are attentive to the kids, the choreography is as good as what you see on So You Think You Can Dance and best of all, they focus on building character through hard work. As a parent, I love to see kids taking the hard paths in life and avoiding the shortcuts. The dance team is an amazing experience and the recreation classes and annual recital are a ton of fun. Highly recommend it,

Awesome dance studio. My daughter is starting her 2nd year at the studio and loves it! The instruction that she receives is top-notch and the teachers are very helpful. My daughter's dancing ability has increased dramatically in the short time she's been there.

I will agree with a previous review that the lobby is crowded, however, they are looking to move to a new studio due to being so cramped in their current location. In a way, that's a good thing because that means that alot of people believe in their studio and the number of students is growing tremendously!

I would highly recommend Hermitage Dance Academy!

Very disappointing.. Classes seem to be poorly organized, students spend more time standing in place then doing anything (particularly the gymnastics class). The lobby is very cramped - you run the risk of being trampled by students (and parents) waiting for their class. One 'teacher' become quite ugly and sarcastic when my daughter needed to 'go potty' - lighten up she's 3 years old and on the bright side, at least she didn't have an accident on the mats! I might add that this is the same teacher who has given my child the wrong pair of ballet shoes twice in spite of the fact that her name is written quite clearly inside both shoes. Over all a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this school to anyone.
