Lacking in Customer Service and Business Skills. We stopped by to take BBQ sandwiches and sides to a friend's for lunch. We got to our destination and were sadly disappointed to find no sides were in the bag. Later, we stopped by to get a refund and were shocked to hear the OWNER say, "No one is perfect". What a way to run a business?!! We have frequented this place over the past 30 years. We also ordered a $50 fried turkey for the 2010 Thanksgiving holiday. I now see how much our business has meant to them. Needless to say, we won't be going back. They're not the only BBQ place in town!

Can i get a refill please. Well first lets talk food....

It is kinda leftovery tasting. And WAY to salty. ( trying to give use a heart attack). And side are always cold for some reason.

Ok and now service...

Unless you are a single young guy or a regular.... DONT expect to get good service from this place.

They will just take your drink, demand an appetizer, take meal order, and then disappear and never show back up for refills or anything till food is ready, and then they will just let you be ( unserviced ) until it is time for check.

But boy if you are a single guy... those girls will sit and flirt with you all night while ignoring us..(less desperate people). And if you are a regular i guess they just respect you a little so they give you some service and look out for ya.

So by far not the best at all. go down the road to get better quality and service.

Awesome. Truly a Hendersonville must. It is homemade to the core. Best pulled pork in the area, still done in their old smokehouse adjacent to the resteraunt. We used to eat there 2 to 3 times a week, when we first moved to the area, the only thing that has changed is OUR schedules, so we can't make it as much.
