Awesome Country kitchen feel. Places such as this are few and far between. Besides the food is amazing. I love their cakes and deserts, they're wonderful! Everything I've ever had there is awesome!

They make you feel like family when you walk through the door. We need to support little family run businesses such as this one.

Love the downhome country charm and delicious sweets. Take a trip back in time and check them out.

Terrible customer service, cakes from catalog overpriced. We were ordering a cake from the catalog that she offers in her store and she wants to charge 24.99 for a 1/4 sheet cake and then an extra 15.00 for the cake toppers that are shown in the catalog (wal-mart sells the toppers for 6.50, for any and all of them, if you buy there cake for 19.99 they are free, not priced seperately)We just wanted a bakery style cake at a fair price. She said she would still make the cake without the topper and we could bring them in and they would put ours on. This seem to make her frustrated because we didnt want to pay the extra money for her cake topper. When my husband got there to pick up the cake, he took my b-day girl (4 yrs. old) in with him, she said she would not put the pieces on the cake and then started screaming at him to get out of the store and he wouldnt getting the cake (this is the day before her b-day)! ( I don't know if she just had a bad day or what, but my 4yr old did'nt need to hear her throwing a temper tantrum.....there were other ways around this which would have been more professional, calling him and telling him no or just plain telling him up front, "No") My husband never raised his voice just looked at her in disbelief and left..... This ended up being a blessing because we got the same cake from a reputable(Claibornes) bakery for 22.99 and it was prettier and tasted just as good or better as hers. Like I have said her cakes tasted good but I will never suggest her to anyone due to her poor attitude. There also was another lady in the store hearing her scream also. Ugly I seen, Sweet I did not!

Awesome Dawson's!. I just ordered my daughter's birthday cake from Dawson's and figured I'd better write a review since I count on these reviews when making my choices for other places on City Search. This is the 4th year we have ordered her cake from Dawson's because she INSISTS we order it from there..........oh, and they have delicious cakes too! The staff have always been so helpful and pleasant too. It's a tiny little place tucked away in Hendersonville but dont' make the mistake of missing out on a great bakery.

Awesome Bakery. I ordered my step-daughter?s birthday cake from sweet Miss Dawson. I ordered Strawberry Shortcake as a design and the cake was flavored strawberry and Miss Dawson used her homemade strawberry frosting, which is absolutely to die for! I highly recommend Dawson's Bakery! Everything we have had from there from cakes to cookies, to pastries have been unbelievable! I just love Miss Dawson because she is so honest and wonderful!
