CJ and the team at Solar Solutions are great! Terrific products, prices and service all in one place. I recently had all the south, east and west facing windows in my home tinted with 3m window tint. CJ and his assistant arrived on time, worked quickly and did a great job.The house looks fantastic from the inside AND from the outside. You really can't even tell the windows are tinted. There is no noticeable color difference from the street and I am thrilled! The tint blocks 99.9% of the UV rays so my new hardwood floors and furniture won't fade and based on my research, I should have significantly lower cooling bills this summer! I got quotes from other vendors, but the price and the quality products at Solar Solutions, along with the friendly service made it an easy choice.

My husband and I were so happy with the work, that we decided to have the windows tinted on his Mercedes. Again, CJ and his staff did a great job and were super easy to work with. We had an outstanding experience each time and found everyone very accommodating and super easy to work with. In addition, my next door neighbor was so impressed with our experience and the quality of the work, she is having her windows tinted as well. Thanks again guys!!!

HORRIBLE. I used these guys (C.J. and Michelle) way back in '03 or '04 on my 4Runner. Did a decent job. Nothing great, but decent and the money was right at the time. I brought the same SUV back to them this winter for basically an entire re-tint (prompted by the replacement of my hatchback since someone hit me from behind). I have since moved about 30 miles away, but my girlfriend lives in Franklin so we arranged for SS to have my car for the day. Upon initial inspection, the tint job looked good. However, when I got home later that afternoon, I noticed a pretty sizable “gap” in one of the back quarter panel window. In other words, you could see light coming through all the sides. Probably 1/4'” inch on one side and that’s unacceptable for a legitimate tinting business.

However, mistakes happen so I scheduled another day to drop the 4Runner off to have it fixed. Still a pain to do so… but I was assured it wouldn’t take too long and at the end of the day, it didn’t. But, I had another surprise in store: After about 3 weeks (it’s winter so I could wait the allotted week to NOT roll down windows to give time for the new tint to “settle.”), I rolled down the rear back glass (4Runners can do this) to let in a little air. BUT… I heard a “crinkling” sound but didn’t notice anything at first; thought they may be remaining air bubbles seeing their way out.

A few days later, I rolled the window down (partially) again and heard the same noise. Turns out… the window tint was being “pushed” away from the glass and rolling up; looked horrible and it looked like an amateur must have installed this tint and maybe had a “lip” of the tint not cut correctly. In one corner, a sizable portion ripped up; I have posted a picture on this site and I have plenty more. Here is what made it worse still: Yes, they fixed it for free, but this was my SECOND visit on bogus work that was THEIR fault. And, since they told me they couldn’t fix the back window on a Saturday (half day, not properly staffed), I had to take ANOTHER day off from work, travel 30 miles one way, get my girlfriend to ALSO take time away from work to pick me up, and do it all over again. They offered absolutely NOTHING in return as a “customer satisfaction” good faith gesture.

Not sure what happened to this company, but unless you want to waste your valuable time AND money… I’d stay away. There are PLENTY of other window tint shops out there.

Look no further.... At the recommendation of a Franklin officer I checked these guys out last week for tint on my Tahoe. Let me just say that from the minute I called I knew this was who I was going to use. As others have said, they were very professional, and very friendly on the phone. They covered my options and pricing and helped me setup an appt for two days later. I dropped it off that morning and they started on it immediately. I planned to hang out for a few hours, but was shocked when they pulled it around in an hour, 15 min. It's been 5 days now and the drying process is complete. I just finished cleaning the windows up and they look perfect! A lifetime warranty to boot and this was a no-brainer! Thanks Solar Solutions!

GREAT SERVICE & PRODUCTS. It has been a month and a half since the crew there tinted the windows at my home. The house stays cooler in the day and warmer in the evening hours. The tint looks great and you barley notice it on the glass. It really does what they say it should.I got all the benfits of it and cant really tell they are tinted. The crew that did the installation were clean,neat, and very polite with my family.You can just tell these guys and girl really do care about what they do.Keep up the great work!!!!!!!

Fantastic, Fast, Friendly. I took my car there a week ago to have its windows tinted, and they took care of everything on the same day in a matter of an hour or so. The owner was very helpful in educating me on the subject. The price was reasonable too. Extra Credit: It was lunch time when I picked up my car; there is a great sushi place across street from the shop which hit the spot.

Quick Service, Honest and thoughtful staff. I had a terrific experience with Solar Solutions on Columbia Avenue. I called several local businesses, and companies in Nashville to get a quote on a trailer hitch/install and Solar Solutions gave me the most fair price. The hitch was for my husband's truck, for our anniversary. I didn't know if I needed a light harness or not, and the staff was honest with me in letting me know that the truck already had a factory installed light harness. Also, when they heard it was for an anniversary gift, they gave me an extra "hitch cover bag" for free. I had my 3 year old daughter with me while waiting for the installation, and the whole process took maybe 40 minutes. In a nutshell, my experience showed Solar Solutions to be honest, quick, economical, and thoughtful.

Awesome Shop. I have known CJ and the staff down at Solar Solutions for years...This is the only shop I will let tint my vehicles. They use a great quality film and have expert knowledge on installation.

Most recently I had a liner spayed into my truck bed…it looks GREAT! This is where I get all accessories for my pickup truck; great prices, and fast installation.

The owner of the shop also talked with me about coming to my house and tinting my windows for my home…I am glad I did. CJ was able to put a tint on my home windows that still looks clear, but block most of the UV that will fade my new hardwood floors.

I would most defiantly recommend this shop to anyone.

Great place. This place was the best. I took my truck in to get the windows tinted. I thought i would have to come back another day to get the work done. But they said they could get me done today. That was great. They had a tv for me to watch to help the time go by. It didn't take long at all, and they explaned how to take care of the tint. I saw that they do car detailing. I had some time to spear so ask about it. It was just as quick has the tint was. This place was great. i got the windows tinted and the car clean. Now i have a like new car again. I was so happy with them and a will tell every one i know to go see them. So if you need window tint or detailing of your car go see these guys. They will do you rite

ALL AROUND EXCELLENT!!!. I had my windows tinted on my Jeep at Solar Solutions. They did a great job, really paying attention to the details! The windows look great and my vehicle stays cooler when the sun is beating down. The staff was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I called around for some quotes and they were the best deal around. I can’t say enough good things about the job well done and the awesome staff! WELL WORTH IT!!!
