AMAZING!!!!. Moved to Franklin a few months ago and finding a hairstylist was a priority of mine. I'm truly picky about my hair because of my job. So, when I walked into Dion's, I was a bit nervous! I went with a senior stylist because of this reason, and I was BLOWN AWAY! Everybody there made me feel so comfortable and important from the moment I walked into the door to the time I got to my car. My hair turned out awesome and I really couldn't be happier. I would suggest this place to anyone who is trying to find a great stylist and a great atmosphere!

Deceptive and disappointing. I had finally decided it was time to invest a bit more and go to a nice place to get a decent hair cut. However, being a little bit fiscally conservative, I thought I would go with an intern stylist. She was a very nice young lady, but timid -- and the lack of confidence was apparent in the end result.

Most surprising (and disappointing) -- is that their sign out on the street, stated the intern price was $20 for a men's cut, yet I was charged $25. Making matters worse, my credit card revealed a $30 charge, even though I only tipped 2.50. When I called about this, I was told, "Oh yeah, we've been meaning to change that sign"...and was given an excuse about how their credit card company charges work. Never got an apology, nothing...and by the way, I could have gotten the same cut at a Super Cuts. MEN: DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!

So appalled!. I am new in the area and called to make an appointment for a consultation for Dion's advertised hair extensions. I was greeted with a "Dion's. Hold please," and after waiting two minutes was again placed on hold to "see if we still do that stuff." I was insulted by their rude and unprofessional staff. I hung up and will NEVER call back.

They want you to be happy. I am a very picky person when it comes to my hair. I have been stylist hopping for the past few years trying to find that perfect salon...well I finally found it. I have been to Dion's 3 times and have been extremely satisfied each time. Their staff is wonderful, their ambiance is just what a salon should be, and their stylists are very talented. More importantly, they will do anything to ensure your "hair happiness." Bravo, Dion's South!

Very Satisfied Customer. I used to get my hair cut at Salon FX until my stylist moved to FL about 5 years ago. I then decided to try a stylist at Dion's South (I lived in Franklin at the time) and really loved my stylist and the salon was much less pretentious than Salon FX. I have been having Val cut and highlight my hair for the past 2 years and have been very happy! She's talented and she listens to what *I* want to do with my hair. The staff at Dion's is friendly and unpretentious. They usually are well-stocked with the hair products that they recommend too. At times they have jewelry and accessories that a local artist has made and is selling. It's always fun to see what they are selling while my hair is processing. Parking can be tricky on Saturday afternoons so try to get there a little early.

Dion's is the Best!. I am a very discerning customer when it comes to hair salons and stylists. I've been a client at Dion's South for over 15 years, and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. The salon is beautiful, the staff is friendly, and Richard is a fabulous and talented stylist, both with cut and color. I wouldn't trust anyone else to touch my hair. I get lots of compliments on my hair and get asked who does it, and I never hesitate to recommend Dion's and Richard.

Heather is the greatest!. What a wonderful place...Heather is young but very thorough and very interested in what her clients want, not what she wants! I have been a client for a year or so and I've always been impressed. Love it.

best in Nashville. Dions is, without a doubt, the finest salon in the Nashville area. I have visited several of the nicer salons in Nashville and Dions is the nicest, friendliest one around. The staff is courteous and are well trained. Richard Dion's haircuts are without compare (folks still come in from L.A. to get one of his signature haircuts). What can I say? The man is gifted with a pair of scissors. The girls who work the front desk are very helpful and will bend over backwards to help you out. In my opion, anyone will love Dion's South and will look like a new person when they leave! IT IS THE BEST AROUND!

Fanastic Experience. Always warmly greeted, professionally cut, reasonably priced for a Salon of this quality. The one person who wrote a bad review obviously has some axe to grind, what's up, did your girlfriend work there and break up with you? Dions rocks!

Great Experience 100% of the time. I am a regular customer at Dion's South, and cannot say enough good things about what they do there. The atmosphere is incredible! The decoration, location in the heart of downtown Franklin, and the warm smiles I get from everyone there make it a pleasant experience I look forward to every month.

My stylist is Erica, and she has always been full of warmth and personality each time I come in. Plus, she is great at what she does! I love this great little salon, and will be a regular as long as I live within an hour of the place. Thanks Dion's South!!!
