Love my hair and such a beautiful salon!!! I was amazed that it was 4 levels in the location that it is in downtown Franklin. I have been looking for a Kerastase salon in Franklin and I have found my new hair home.

Dions South is awesome!! I have been getting my hair done there for the past year and i could not be happier .I attended other salons in the past, but none of them seemed to make me satisfied .Im so happy that i found Dion's. Its so convenient being right on main street in downtown Franklin. Soon as you walk in you will be amazed by how elegant and pretty the atmosphere is . Just by sitting and watching all the stylists interact with their clients ,i know everyone does a fantastic job. Furthermore, the owner RIchard Dion is so nice! His work and his dedication he puts into that salon is incredible . Everyone should be walking in and getting your hair done at Dion's South. You will without a doubt, be very happy with your service. !!!!

I went to Richard at Dion's South for several years, then changed to another salon to find a lower price. I tried several well-known and recommended salons, but was never totally satisfied. I have been back with Richard for some time now and could not be happier! I constantly get compliments on my cut and color.

Richard is WORTH the DRIVE! And I have a very long drive! I moved to Virginia a little over a year ago and twice tried a self proclaimed master stylist. And since the disasterous attempts, I have been driving 1350 miles round trip to have THE MASTER color,cut,high-light, trim & style. He has seen me through my long phase and short, my blonde &red phases, and now is covering my few sprouting grays. AND HE NAILED THEM ALL!!!! From now until they have to drive me here like Miss Daisy, I won't let anyone else touch my hair but RIchard at Dion's South!

Richard Dion is amazing at what he does! I went from a boring regular haircut to an amazing stylish short cut. I have never received so many compliments on my hair before. I feel like a celebrity! I love that they are located in the heart of downtown Franklin and they have been there for so many years. It's such a great vibe. Any one new in town or looking for a different salon I strongly recommend going to Dion's South.

MY HAIR WAS RUINED BY GOING HERE!!!. I recently had my hair ruined here by the owner! My new stylist said that it will take three months to correct my cut and a year to correct my color! Color was put all over my hair instead of just the roots. They use L'oreal Inoa hair color which is one of the worst hair colors for your hair. Very drying and does not look natural! ~ The only reason to share my experience is to help others not to go through what I have been through. I have to deal with messed up hair every day now until the cut and color grows out!

Experienced Stylist worst experience. Save yourself the time, there are plenty of other places that have a less pretentious staff. Someone didn't teach their front desk staff manners, then to continue on after waiting for an undesclosed ammount of time (which seems like they were over booking in order to make money because of their name?!?) wow. I can't even waste my time on this review anymore they aren't even worth the time.

Horrible. I waited for 30 minutes, even though I had an appointment. Then they chopped my hair. It is horrible. The hair and the experience.

HORRIBLE, Worst experience ever!. I used Dion's South due to their 'excellent' reviews. I went to get my hair cut and colored the week before my wedding. I also scheduled my hair to be styled the day of my wedding.

The lady that cut my hair gapped the left side tremendoulsly, and tried to cover it up with styling. Also she dyed the front of my hair incorrectly. Once I pointed this out, she said, "Sorry, I don't have the time to fix this problem. You will need to make another appointment. I have customers waiting, and I have already spent too much time with your hair." She spent two hours trying to dye my hair. It is not my problem if she is slow. I did not realize the gap at the time due to the styling.

I did go to another salon that evening to get my hair dyed correctly. Having to pay full price yet again. I did keep my hair apointment for my wedding day. It was far too late to find another stylist on that short of notice.

The next day I walked into Dion's to address the gap in my hair. Richard fixed the cut himself, and agreed it was cut incorrectly. He had no idea why it was cut this way, and so badly. Greatfully he did not charge me for the hair cut he did for me.

I must say the person that styled my hair did an excellent job. After having to redue it twice, and me fixing part of it as well. This appointment was only supposed to last an hour. It actually lasted 2.5 hours making me late for getting dressed and pictures.

It is not appropriate for a bride to be crying while getting her hair fixed for her wedding. The stylist working on my hair was polite, but all the gossiping going on in the background that was overheard was uncalled for! I will never forget this horrible experiecne on what should have been the happiest week of my life.

It has been a couple of years since I had the experience listed above. But my anniversary is coming up, and I get mad every time I look at my wedding pictures. Expecially the ones that the photographer caught me crying in.
