Local Paper. The local paper is great about taking input from folks. If there is an event, view, business, etc. that you are interested in or have an opinion on, just write the article and submit it. The paper is very open to this which gives the people of Hickman County a lot of opportunities.

Newspaper is limited by local political views. This newspaper is two thin sections. The articles are small & usually not very informative. The best thing is the police blotter, but they have it under so many headings you have to search the whole thing to find the information. The editoral section is kept to "happy news" or limited negative information. There is no growth in the town & the newspaper keeps in line with the small town thinking. Save the 50 cents and go online for your news.
