In Short
Situated atop one of Nashville's highest points, this little known stargazer's paradise is owned by the academics, but is open to the public several days a month from March through November. Nerds and romantics alike are encouraged to learn about celestial bodies through special outreach programs, such as the educational Exploration Nights or relaxed outdoor concerts lead by country music stars. The observatory can also be rented for special events or corporate retreats for a reasonable fee.
