Friendly but SLOW. As a BA customer, I was used to fast, friendly service. Not exactly what we got when we were banking here.

Nice Try, But No Go. AmSouth claims to be "The Relationship People", but they fall short of a true good relationship. Their policies on which deposits post, and when, are unclear. They've supposedly have an up-to-date listing of transactions in their online banking website, but I found out the hard way that it's not really "up-to-date". Some transactions are applied, but don't show. Even an AmSouth Customer Service supervisor told me that the website info is not as reliable as it should be. So, if you forget to make a deposit one day, you might be screwed and hit with a couple hundred dollars in overdraft fees, even if the website tells you everything is fine.

I've also found that when it comes to helping a customer vs. charging a fee, they'll go for the fees - unless you scream loud enough. That's not the kind of bank I want.
