STAY AWAY PEOPLE! STAY AWAY!. I don't even want to give Mazatlan ONE star. If you think that, while you are eating dinner and a cockroach running across your table, you are crazy. Not just that, how about finding a FINGERNAIL in your BURRITO???????? Oh my Gosh...I could throw up just thinking about that......DO NOT EAT AT THIS PLACE....it is dangerous and you could get VERY sick.......
A Brentwood Favorite. Mazatlan is a Brentwood favorite. Great food and speedy service. The Jimi Nachos are great and the queso dip is fantastic. Can get a bit crowded...but that is proof to how good it is!
Great Mexican Food. Love this place! I work in the area and usually go for lunch once a week. Also VERY inexpensive! Best chips and salsa in town!
The lastest in giant Mexical feed troughs.
My waiter was the best thing about my meal. He was attentive. The guacamole dip was a bland pureed green mess. The chips were hot, that was good and so was the salsa dip-that was good. But I had to use my fork like a hacking axe to cut the cheese tortilla.
A guy was right behind me cleaning windows making my meal smell like Windex. After a couple dirty looks he left. The meal was inexpensive-that's good.
Good deal, overall.
Pros:
- Food Quality/Price;
- Nice atmosphere in a restaurant;
Cons:
- NO OUTSIDE DINING - PLEASE CORRECT THE INFO ON THIS WEB-SITE;
- Plates and glasses with broken edges, dirty silverware had to be replaced
- Had to request a menu and point out that the waiters forgot to bring a part of a dish (they only brough a skillet of meat and forgot to bring a plate with rice, beans, and salad).
Fabulous Food, if you can get in!. Year after year they satisfy & please everyone in our office. The food is hot, the sweet tea is cold and the staff is friendly. The only problem-parking. Everybody in Brentwood eats there, so arrive early for a lunchtime visit. They never make you feel rushed and they keep the drinks full. I'm going back today!
Visit this pearl of the Pacific for no-frills, authentic Mexican cuisine..
In Short
This ethnic eatery, named for a resort town on the Mexican Riviera, boasts a roomy dining area with plenty of seating for large groups. The interior has warm, neutral shades, with wall murals depicting rural scenes and festive Latin music playing throughout. The area's Hispanic residents, students and young couples keep the kitchen busy and the imported beer flowing. Folks with healthy appetites appreciate the generous portions of everything from nachos to camarones al diablo.
