In Short – The interior of this suburban restaurant invites relaxation with its warm pinewood paneling and the soft glow of red and yellow Japanese lanterns. A bright blue aquarium by the door is home to a variety of colorful tropical fish. Behind the usually crowded sushi bar, the sushi chef artfully slices sashimi and builds rolls. The Tennessee roll--bite-sized yellowtail with green onion--is a favorite.
The Best In Town

Some people say Peter's sushi is the best. I agree, but that was 3 years ago. NOw Peters sushi is terrible, i dont know what happened. Fortunately, Miyako is getting better. So the best place to go for sushi in Bentwood is Miyako.
- Pros: good sushi
PERFECT SUSHI!

Regarding the review below me...I've been to Peter's Thai and Sushi and Miyako is a billion times better in my opinion so I think they're doing OK without him! I would not go back to Peter's. Not to mention you get way more food for your money at Miyako than Peter's or any other sushi place you go to which is always good when you're obsessed with sushi like us :)
Miyako is always fast, efficient, and consistantly the same (wonderful!) Everyone there is friendly and always takes care of us and the owners even know is by now b/c we go so much and eat so much sushi.
Best spider roll ever! Husband and Wife, Fuji, Shrimp Tempura, Hawaiian roles are all wonderful too. I've never met one I didn't like there.
- Pros: wonderful sushi, fast, great atmosphere, great owners
- Cons: so far from where we live now (spring hill) :(
Used to be good...

My family used to frequent Miyako when we first moved to town 15 years ago. But it hasn't been the same since their head sushi chef Peter left. Luckily Peter now owns his own place just around the corner from Miyako that has better sushi and atmosphere.
