RUDE SERVER / SAD CUST SERVICE. Very disappointing. Took my aunt to brunch for her birthday, her FIRST visit. I had told her about my past experiences a few years ago (pretty good) for lunch. After calling and being told about the Eggs Benedict and stating that it was the best seller for Saturday brunch, we decided to try it, We arrived at about 12:30 and were seated before 1:00. Server arrived (with a total attitude). When asked for water with my aunt's coffee, there was no response as the server left the table. We both overlooked the bad attitude and proceeded to order the Eggs Benedict for both of us. Server came back to advise, with a not so nice attitude, that there were no more poached eggs, but they could make the eggs over easy over English muffin. Now, this is NOT Eggs Benedict. Brunch did not end until 2:30, but we were told that it was not possible to get poached eggs as those were prepared ONCE early in the morning and could not be cooked at this time. After the attitude and the lack of poached eggs, we decided to go elsewhere to celebrate my aunt's birthday. As we were leaving, I could not help but explain to someone who was supposed to be the manager why we were leaving. I was surprised to note that she was dressed more like a kitchen manager than the restaurant manager. All she could do was nod her head and state that eggs could certainly have been prepared, but never offered to do so if we would stay. I've been in customer service as well as management and I would have offered to serve this disappointed customer a nice pastry from the bakery or some fresh fruit on the house while Eggs Benedict were prepared, correctly, for a customer who might NOT ever come back if they left without eating. My aunt and I will NEVER frequent this restaurant again and will advise anyone we know to bypass it due to the bad attitude of server and lack of customer service from the "manager". Too bad that there is no way to rate with NO STAR... Just call me Disappointed

overpriced, snooty, and rude people. The food is tasty at times (although it will give you a heart attack because they don't care about heart health!) but please, they must think alot of themselves to charge what they charge....what was it, $4.00 for a cinnamon bun? Say what??? And a brownie, which was very very stale, was a few bucks???? Huh???? Are you kidding me??????

Love Puffy Muffin!. I ordered my daughter's first birthday cake from Puffy Muffin last year! It was perfect! I could not stop looking at it, it was soo cute! They had great examples and the colors were amazing! The cake was delicious! I plan on ordering my daughters cake there again next month! Best bakery in TN!

Great Muffins!. The muffins here are fabulous! You can choose from chocolate, banana nut, carrot nut, bran, blueberry, cream cheese, and more. They also have great quiches, cinnamon rolls and other pastries, and cookies to go. The eat in breakfast is great too.

Miss it!. I lived in Nashville for 4 years and moved to Chicago about a year ago. The eating is great in Chicago, but I have to say that I miss Puffy's quiches, tortilla soup, hash brown casserole, and delicious lemon-poppyseed bread. Definitely one of my favorite breakfast/brunch places of all time.

Beware of the Fake Egg. Try asking for a sunnyside up egg here. All their eggs are scrambled or in an omelet. Hmmm....

The food is very average. Muffins are pretty good--they microwave them before bringing them to the table, so they are very very warm.

Cozy bakery and tearoom satisfies Brentwood and beyond.. In Short
A line forms here for good reason--this cozy spot hits the right combination of old-fashioned goodness and a comfortable atmosphere. Word about this thriving bakery and tearoom has crossed the Brentwood border and spread to the rest of Nashville. Fragrant homemade breads, muffins, cakes and pies tempt patrons from the long bakery cases that line the room. For lunch, there's a croissant club sandwich, fresh quiche or the crunchy chicken casserole.

Good Southern casseroles. I have eatend there for years, the food is bankable, the take out however is disoraginized and I only got half of the food I ordered and paid for, which I did not discover until I got home. The crunchy chicken casserole is great so is the cranberry salad.

Always a wait, expect that and good food.

the bloated biscuit. i have been to this establishment on more than one occasion and have never really been impressed. their food is average... mostly catered to elderly southern women. there are very few vegetarian options.

the last time i was there was for a bridal luncheon. the manager was very rude to us and asked us to leave our table because all of our party was not there yet (we were missing the bride herself). it would have been a bit more understandable if there were not quite a few large empty tables around us.

while i would not reccomend this place to eat at, their bakery however is great. the baker will make special (gluten free, casing and whey free) cakes upon request. if you have no allergies try the boston cream cake. it's to die for!
