This hidden Chinese spot is great for takeout, delivery or eating in.. In Short
Located in a small cottage on a little-traveled side street in Brentwood, this restaurant obviously relies on word-of-mouth. A Chinese lantern suspended from wooden ceiling beams is the only Oriental element to the cozy decor. A teapot arrives at tables before customers even ask. Brisk takeout business reassures first-time diners that the place is popular. The menu offers Americanized Chinese fare, along with Hunan-style and Cantonese dishes and several lamb entrees.

yuuuuuuuuuuck!!!!!!!. I can not believe anyone would think this is good. It was horrible!! The wonton soup didn't have any flavor, extra greasy egg rolls and the only difference between the kung pao chicken and cashew chicken was a few peanuts in one and a few cashews in the other. The restaurant was so dirty it was disgusting. The only postive thing I can say is the service was great and the hostess is hilarious.

Great Service! Great Chinese Food!. The dark wood interior dotted with Chinese banners and decorations is a pleasant place to enjoy your meal. The owner and her family run the place and you'll never be left waiting for long. Her up-beat, excited manner is half the reason to eat here (several of my friends like her so much that's why they go). Just be careful if you're not in the mood for coversation, she can talk your ear off!

Since I've been back from China, this is some of the best Chinese food I've had in the states. The food is rich and full of flavor, unlike most Chinese buffetts or restaurants which tend to have drier, less flavorful food. Along with the food, you'll get a separate plate each - this is because in China the dishes are put in the middle and each person takes some of whichever plate rather than having all one dish to his or herself. It's a great way to try several different flavors.
