ALWAYS ELEGANCE!.
I HAVE ALWAYS ENJOYED MY TIME HERE-- IT IS RELAXING AND THE WINE IS LOVELY!
I USED TO COME AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK LAST YEAR-- BUT I HAVE MOVED FARTHER OUT-
MEGAN IS NORMALLY OUR SERVER AND SHE DOES EVERYTHING TO MAKE IT THE BEST- SO NOW WE COME ONLY TWICE A MONTH- THE FOOD IS GREAT! AND ITS ALWAYS NICE WHEN A CHEF WILL FIX WHAT YOU NEED AND WANT ON A DISH--
TRY THIS PLACE OUT -- YOU WILL LOVE IT!
Great food, service and friendly atmosphere!!!. Great Service, the food was wonderful, will definately be back! Brentwood has a jewel with this place!
This Brentwood charmer serves Southern fare with a contemporary twist..
In Short
Once inside this cozy little oasis crowded with tables and local art, you'll forget the strip-mall ambience and feel right at home. The menu of contemporary cuisine is comfortably innovative without seeming bizarre. The signature salad of mixed greens, dried cherries, walnuts and Gorgonzola is a neighborhood favorite. Some items are like dressed-up soul food: Pecan-encrusted trout with roasted vegetable hash and a thick, grilled chipotle-barbecue pork chop with macaroni and cheese.
Overrated. I decided to try Wild Iris this evening after seeing the positive reviews on this site. Unfortunately my experience was not what the ratings led me to expect. This place is a bit long on pretense and short on actual performance. It's basically a wannabe Park Cafe. The entrees were hodgepodges of generic foodie-fusion ingredients which were neither particularly fresh nor well prepared. The service was mediocre as were the prices. There may not be many options for fine dining in Brentwood but this is a place to settle for, not look forward to.
User review by bethsc. Food is great. The choices are unique and fresh. however, the portion sizes are lighter than some restaurants.
New Orleans cuisine in Brentwood, TN. The Chef here is superb, She has to have the voodoo magic in her recipes, because I have never eaten this quality of food anywhere else. She is professionally trained in New Orleans and has surpassed the master chefs that she trained under in this art of cooking creations. Anything on the menu and the daily specials are to die for. Some of the current menu items in 3/05 are (Lunch - Red beans and rice, meatloaf w/ mac and cheese) Dinner the Crawfish with filled crepes are unbelieveable. "The dishes are simple and easy to eat, but memorable."
Bullish on Bistro. I've eaten lunch at the Wild Iris several times, and the food is usually good to exceptional (and moderately priced). For those that enjoy something lighter, their salads are also very good. Not that there is a lot of competition in the Brentwood area (there's not), I would rate this the best in the area.
Great service and fabulous food!. I have been to the Wild Iris several times now and every time the food is wonderful .. always something exciting and different to try .. and the service is exceptional. A must try!
