This is the place that I always go if ever I want something fresh and not stale! They have amazing bread and the place looks so wonderful, and the people that work here are friendly.

DO USE FOR WEDDING CAKE. I used this bakery for my wedding cake back in April, and everyone commented on how beautiful and delicious it was. I didn't have any left overs- and everyone asked where the cake came from. Iris uses real from scratch made cakes and icing. I had a yellow cake with cream cheese icing and it was divine. She is a very busy woman, but I would not call her rude at all. Definitely recommend this bakery for all of your cake & pie needs. My cake was the most gorgeous wedding cake I've ever seen- and her pricing is extremely fair!

DELICIOUS, ALWAYS DEPENDABLE BAKERY. My family have been Iris's customers for over 15 years. Many holidays, showers, parties, graduations, and two weddings later ... we are still delighted with the quality of everything offered at Flour Shop. Christmas cakes are special and need to be ordered early.

Don't use for your wedding cake. I used them for my wedding cake. I was referred to this shop by a friend and went by for a tasting. The owner was less than friendly and acted as if I was wasting her time. I asked for buttercream icing but got regular powdered sugar icing. The cake looked horrible. I would not recommend for your weddig cake.

Best bakery in town!. I've been ordering Chess and Fudge pies for Thanksgiving from Iris for the past 15 years. They are the best!!

Cake looked great and tasted even better. I ordered my daughter's b'day cake here and they made it look just like her decorations for the party. Everyone at the party raved about how cute it was and how delicious it tasted. Would definitely use again.

Best bakery ever!. I absolutely love the Flour Shop Bakery! I and my coworkers celebrate everyone's birthday and we always go out of our way to have Iris' cakes. Its a treat for the birthday person and us alike. I recommend her for every occasion, she is great.

Best cake in town!!. This is the best cake I have ever had! I have ordered the white cake with baby booties for 3 or 4 baby showers and every time, people comment on great the cake is! The price is wonderful too! Much better pricing that other shops nearby and 100X's better tasting! You won't be sorry you ordered from here!

Best Bakery in Middle Tennessee BAR NONE!. I have been doing business with Iris for over 12 years...and I have lived in Brentwood, Tennessee, Florida and North Carolina. When I have an event - family, wedding, etc. - in Tennessee (I have relatives all over the Mid-TN area), Iris is the ONLY person I call, even if I have to drive two hours to get her goodies! Her cakes are absolutely delicious and reasonably-priced. And Iris is a true artist. She can copy or make anything! I took her a ladybug napkin for my little granddaughter's 2nd birthday, and she made the most stunning ladybug cake that was exactly like the napkin, which went with the whole ladybug theme. Everyone raved about the beauty of the cake, as well as the delicious taste. She has wonderful fried pies, bar-type cookies, etc. Her mints are exceptional! She and the atmosphere of her shop have always made me feel welcome and at home. Iris and the ladies who work there wait on the customers as well as make the wonderful sweets. I am furious at the negative reviews I read on here because that's not reflective of Iris or her shop. Sometimes a bad review reflects the bad disposition of the reviewer, not the owner or company they are reviewing. If you want a beautiful cake for a birthday, wedding or any special event, go to Iris. You will NOT be disappointed! And don't be surprised if Iris is VERY busy...plan ahead because she is famous for her cakes and you don't want to miss out.

best ever. I have had Iris bake cakes for me before she even opened the Flour Shop. She baked the most beautiful wedding cake for my daughter and everyone committed on the taste and appearance. She is amazing. We also got my grand-daughter's first birthday cake from her and it was amazing. And the mints are to die-for... You will never reqret having her do your event. Highly recommend and will continue having her to all my baking needs.
