***Skip this place and go someplace else!!!****. I work less than a mile from here so it is very convienent to go here. I will drive 10 miles out of my way to avoid this place. Although the prices are reasonable, the staff is RUDE. I have given them several chances but each time I go back I am always dissapointed in their service. They really need to train their staff on common customer service. Choose to spend your money someplace else.
Best Buy is a horrid, mean, despicable place. AVOID THEM..
I have had several bad experiences at the Best Buy in Cool Springs. The customer service is absolutely horrendous. Every single person I've ever dealt with there is RUDE, and worse yet - they are not knowledgeable of their products.
I took a camera there to be replaced (I had the 4-year service plan). I took the camera in two months before a trip overseas. About a week before I left for Europe, I called to check on my camera only to be told, "Ooops. Your camera hasn't even been sent to Precision yet." So.... needless to say, I took a once in a lifetime trip without my $1,500-dollar camera!
Also - beware that they will not let you return a "opened item". I got thrown out of this store and can't go there for two years because I argued with them about this policy. My question is "how am I supposed to know if something works if I don't OPEN it?" I didn't get a real answer, I just got rudeness and smart alecks.
Also - the Geek Squad did an in-home service on my computer. They told me over the phone prior to the visit that my Dell was not under warranty anymore. So, since they took the serial number of the computer prior to telling me that, I believed them. I spent $459 all total for them to fix my computer, but it crashed again. So, I just called Dell. Dell told me my computer WAS still under warranty, and they replaced my hard drive for free. Best Buy/Geek Squad screwed me out of $500 for nothing.
There is NOTHING good about this store, its customer serice, its policies OR its employees. They don't want to help you. They just want your money. Once you swipe your card, they don't care about you anymore because they know they will NOT REFUND YOUR MONEY FOR A FAULTY PRODUCT.
Customers PLEASE shop elsewhere. There is an HH Gregg, Toys R Us, Target, Wal-Mart, Circuit City and Game Stop nearby. Don't even bother pulling into the Best Buy parking lot. Just head to HH Gregg or somewhere else. And don't forget: you can also shop online at amazon, etc.

On December 29th 2005, I returned my laptop computer to the Best Buy Store in Cool Springs Tn. to be repaired. I was told that my laptop would be sent to the Atlanta Regional Center for repair and would be returned to me within (2) week!!!! It has been exactly (1) month and (5) days and still no sign of my laptop. I have had numerous conversations with the store manager "What a looser" and he has no clue as to why I still do not have my computer. To my great disatisfaction, no one at Best Buy or the Atlanta Regional Center can tell me why I have not received my laptop much less where it is located. I have spent over $3,000.00 dollars purchasing the laptop and SPS Service program . I Strong Encourage that you not buy anything from this store.

Best Buy, Worst Service. Day after Thanksgiving deals in the paper were not honored even when doing exactly what store employees said to do. "Management" was rude and after several attempts to get them to honor their advertising I was told "We don't want you in the store". Not a good attitude for retail management!!
