GREAT atmosphere!

From the moment we entered we were greeted with enthusiasm and the server continued with it throughout our meal. The menu was comparable to what you expect for a 50's diner. The burger was generous in size, yet it needs some seasoning for the meat itself was a bit bland. The fries were hot and fresh. The milkshake was GREAT!
- Pros: Delicious milkshakes
- Cons: Burgers need some seasoning
Happy Days Everyday

Yes, Stratton's is a wonderful place to eat and the best 50's diner anywhere. Even though they are located in a small town, they have moved up in the world and do take debit and credit cards. I love it there and would drive 50 miles just for a handmade milkshake, u cannot find these anywhere else.
- Pros: always a warm welcome from the workers
- Cons: always a full parking lot, get there early
Forget Johnny Rockets, This Is The Real Thing

When I first moved to Nashville I spent a lot of time looking for 'local' places, the special restaurants you never want the tourists to discover. Stratton's quickly became one of my favorites. Not a 50's diner recreation, this is the real thing - opened in the 50's and still going strong. Great burgers, real shakes and malts, quick service, nice folks. Memories galore on every wall. Just remember to bring cash - they don't take credit cards or checks.
- Pros: food, price, personality
- Cons: cash only, lunch crowds
