Riverview Restaurant

Not Again. This used to be one of my favorite catfish places, I guess the operative words are "used to be." I have been back 3 times since the reopening and all three times my catfish was very over cooked. Sure, they have a great view of the river, but in the future, I will go eat fish in Springfield and come watch the river from the park just across the river from Riverview.…

Closed by the flood but coming back!. Best restaurant in AC, TN for my money. Still mostly fried food that I try to avoid, but the rest is still tasty. The buffet is VERY popular on Friday and there are weekend brunch buffets available.

Personally, I like the table service over viewing the Cumberland.

They have had a community room for large groups if you schedule it in advance with large fire place available and great windows for a wonderful view of the Cumberland river. Birthday, retirement, and holiday parties are favorite activities here!

They also operate Pelican Cruises for a tour of the Cumberland, and a public dock for tieing up while fueling or having a good meal.

They have been closed since the May 2010 flood, but are in the process of rebuilding. To bad they were not allowed to expand when as they rebuild (yes, they tried, but were not allowed by government agencies). We are looking forward to their reopening!…

exelent catfish. i ate here a few years back on a business trip the buffet was great this was by far the best catfish i have ever had before i wouldn't even try to order a steak or anything else here sense they are famous for catfish that's like ordering pizza at MC donalds the staff was friendly and prompt and it is right on the river you can even pull up in a boat as they said Alan Jackson has been known to pull up on his boat and eat there also i can't wait to go back again…

BEST CATFISH IN TN. I HAVE EATEN AT THIS RESTAURANT MANY TIMES AND IT IS BY FAR THE BEST PLACE IN TN FOR CATFISH. THE STAFF IS ALWAYS PROMPT AND READY TO SERVE. THE MANAGEMENT WAS VERY PERSONAL AND I AM ALWAYS GREETED BY A MANAGER WHEN I WALK IN. WHAT RESTAURANT CAN YOU GO TO NOWADAYS WHERE A MANAGER GREETS AND SEATS YOU. NOWHERE, EXCEPT RIVERVIEW. THE FOOD, WHETHER IT IS CATFISH, CHICKEN, OR STEAKS, IS ALWAYS COOKED TO PERFECTION AND IF SOMETHING IS NOT TO YOUR PLEASURE THEN THE KITCHEN STAFF IS MORE THAN WILLING TO FIX THE PROBLEM. I READ IN A PREVIOUS REVIEW THAT A MEMBER OF THE KITCHEN STAFF TASTED A STEAK AND STATED THAT IT TASTED FINE TO THEM TO A CUSTOMER. I SIMPLY DO NOT BELIEVE THIS TO BE TRUE. I HAVE NEVER WITNESSED SUCH RUDE BEHAVIOR FROM THE STAFF AT RIVERVIEW. ANYWAYS, IF YOUR LOOKING FOR GREAT FOOD WITH ALL THE BENEFITS OF A CATFISH HOUSE AND GRANNY'S KITCHEN AND THE KINDNESS OF A STAFF THAT REMINDS YOU OF THE GOOD OL' DAYS THEN YOU CAN'T AFFORD TO MISS THE EXPERIENCE OF DINING AT RIVERVIEW RESTAURANT.…
