Editorial Review for Angelo's Picnic Pizza – by Malaika Wells

In Short
Though the menu offers a variety of sandwiches and pasta dishes, pizza reigns supreme. The house special arrives piping-hot and loaded with an assortment of meats and veggies. The vegetarian with spinach, mushrooms, onions, peppers, fresh tomatoes and two types of olives, is especially tasty. The homemade crust is thin and tender. Fat calzones ooze cheese and fillings.

User Reviews for Angelo's Picnic Pizza

5 Star Rating: Highly Recommended

I found Angelo's using the Urban spoon app on my iPhone and I wasn't disappointed. I had the spaghetti with meat sauce, and my friend had an Italian sub. Both were delicious, and large enough to please any appetite. We are going to go back and try the pizza.

Pros: Price, Portion, Service

Cons: Looks a little run down, but it doesn't seem to matter.

I've been a faithful customer of Angelo's for the last 10 years. I'm sad to say that tonight's visit was my last. Ever since Angelo retired the food is not the same. There is a whole new kitchen crew and the quality of the food has gone downhill. The last 4 times I've been there, it's been getting worse and worse. My salad tonight was wilted and tasted like it had been soaking in oil all day. I told the waitress of my displeasure with the salad, and she didn't even offer to take it off of the bill. I informed Angelo's wife when I paying the bill and she didn't even offer to take it off of the bill. My pizza tonight was terrible too. There were too many veggies on it and it was watery, therfore the crust was soggy. I ordered feta cheese on it and it was not even melted!! I've given them the benefit of the doubt over my last four visits, hoping they were just having a bad night. Apparently it is not getting any better. Goodbye Angelo!! It's as if I've lost an old friend!!!

Pros: None

Cons: Food Quality Has Decreased
