In Short – The story of the Bell family's violent tormenting by a malevolent entity in the early 1800s is one of the most famous ghost stories in the country. It is believed that a spirit poisoned patriarch John Bell before disappearing to a nearby cave, threatening to return in the future. Tours of the cave and a reconstructed Bell Cabin are offered several months out of the year, weather permitting.

Wonderful afternoon. It's like going to a mini-museum. The historical facts and folklore are excellent. Very entertaining and knowlegeable staff. Be sure to hang around after seeing the cabin and cave to talk to the staff. They are more than happy to tell all types of folklore since the 1800's.
- Pros: Knowlegeable staff, inexpensive, historical
