First great experience. I went here on a non date with someone who had never eaten Indian food, we told the waiter/owner we had no experience and left the ordering of the appetizers to him, he reccommended some items from the menu. One of which we chose (C2 I believe) we ordered it with the lamb. OMG!! It was tender, succulent, the tomatoes and peppers sweet, it was a treat; so we ordered a second entree instead of a desert. We figured we had a good thing so we stuck with the lamb choice, it was spiceier, and as indulgent as any food I have eaten. We both had a wonderful time, in this family style restaurant, that also has a touch of elegance.

The best Indian restaurant in Nashville.. My wife and I love Indian food and have tried every Indian restaurant in Nashville. Shalimar has always been our favorite, but it's far and a bit expensive.

When we moved to Mt. Juliet, we were happy to see this place open, but a bit skeptical, as the building looks like an old pizza place (which it was). When you walk in, it's as if you stepped in the Twilight Zone. The place is charming, well decorated, linens on every table, and romantic atmosphere.

The food is absolutely amazing! We've been there a dozen times since, and it's been consistently the same. Big portions, great taste, and lots of options.

They give you the option of mild (not spicy at all), medium, and hot which is great depending on what you like.

I couldn't recommend a better place for genuine Indian food in Nashville.
