We were pleasantly surprised!. Cool Beans opened sometime last year in a plaza near Aldi. The outside is nothing special, and it even looks a little cheap from the outside..christmas lights, signs on the windows, etc.

When we arrived, the host sat us promptly. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. He made recommendations and suggested some great dishes. He knew the menu well. The waiter at the booth next to us was also great. We paid with a gift certificate which called for auto gratuity, and he highlighed it so as not to be sneaky. He was so great we tipped him more than the auto.

We got chicken rolls and wings for appetizers. They were both really good. We also had some soups..garden veggie and crawfish. Those were both flavorful and fresh. We then got crawfish pasta and spaghetti with meatballs. Both entrees were flavored just right.The pasta was al dente, and the sauces were great.

It takes a lot for me to reccomend somewhere, and I would definitely recommend Cool Beans. The service alone is worth going, but the food is great too.

Only downside is that they really should update the tables/chairs and get some beer on tap. But I wouldn't hold that against a good restaurant.
