Great food and service. This is by far the best restaurant in Sumner County. I moved to the Hendersonville area from Franklin. It is hard to find restaurants as good as you will find in Franklin. Although, Mimi's did it they are as good as any restaurant you will find in Franklin.

Has really gone downhill. The half empty parking lot should have been a clue.

We went to Mimi's on Saturday night, January 22nd. We were seated right away about 5:45 - which was good, but the restaurant was only about 1/2 full, which is unusual because this place is generally packed.

A waitress came by about 5 minutes after we sat down and asked for drink order - we ordered a bottle of wine - so far so good. About 20 minutes later the wine showed up - not good, and she hasn't taken our food order yet. A few minutes later she takes our order - OK its about 6:10. We couldn't help but notice several tables of people around us who looked like they've been waiting a while - several empty break baskets, water glasses empty, frustrated faces, etc. We got served about 6:45 (an hour after we arrived). Both our entrees were incomplete - they were each missing a key ingredient. The watress took them back (bad idea) and promised to get them right back to us. After about 1/2 hour and several "they'll be right out in a few mintues" we finally got our food - 1-1/2 hrs after we sat down. The dinners were fine and tasty - just too SOO long to get them, and then right only after they went back to the kitchen.

When the bill was presented, the waitress was apologetic - appparently one large group (i don't where they were) stopped up the kitchen. OK, but the place was only 1/2 full. Obviously there was a problem wiht the kitchen. We got not more, other than their standard $5 off breakfast coupon. I was really expecting to get at least part of our meal comped - but No.

We won't be back.

Slowest Service in 3 states!. I met 3 friends at Mimi's at noon on 8-5-2010; were seated immediately--good news. Placed our drink order and then our lunch order and we waited---and waited---and waited. After 55 mins., 3 orders were delivered--mine was not one of the three. I had ordered a salad with grilled chicken--waitperson said the chicken had not been cooked. So I waited while my three friends ate their meal---another 15 mins. before mine arrived. Then another wait for drink refills-----and another wait for the check and another wait for change. We would have spoken to a manager but none was around. The food was good===not fabulous or grand, but good. The service left much to be desired and I am not sure we will venture there again. Life is too short to sit that long for a salad. I expected better.
