FLIES ALL AAROUND

by ZOD at Citysearch

Seeing now summer is over. now all the flies in the Daily (food) Dish are gone, I just might show for Sunday's brunch. Oh but then I would haven to wait in line for someone to spoon the food on to my plate when it's a buffet. Whats up with that? my food is getting cold as it is when I wait to pay behide everyone else. Oh and another is I found out what happens to all the left over food during the week it gets reheated and put on the Sunday's brunch buffet.....Yum! I hope I don't get sick or any poor soul that eats out of the Daily (DOG) Dish.

P.S. Can not wait for the summer of 2010. When I can call all my Fly budies back to hang out all over the food and piss off all the people that eat there. Man if it's that bad in the front I wonder what goes on it the kitchen?

your pal, a fly on te wall

Disappointed

by JenLaine at Citysearch

I was excited to try the Daily Dish's Sunday brunch, but a bit disappointed. Due to space limitations, the buffet is presented in a rather cafeteria-like manner. This does not affect the quality of the food, of course, but it does make it appear much less appetizing. Additionally, even though the crowd is small, you have to wait in the line to get anything you need. This can take several minutes. The food was acceptable and edible, but not outstanding at all. The "fresh" fruit was not - strawberries had some age on them. The biscuits are heavy and somewhat bland. The biggest disappointments were the made-to-order eggs and waffles. It took so long for them to arrive that we had finished our buffet food and were no longer hungry. Overall, I love the idea, but the execution is lacking. We would not return for brunch, but might try regular lunch.

  • Cons: Wait, presentation
