Just Ok. Hard to compare since no competition.. We ate here after Mom & Pop's Pizza shop was driven out of buisness by this larger, more cookie cutter restrurant opened. It was nothing to shout about but when you are a buisness in Nolensville that sells food the locals don't have much of a choice in pizza unless you order from one of the chain delivery places. As pizza lovers we hope that more competition opens up so that there is more quality in a quality sort of town.
Disappointed. I had hoped that the pizza would live up to its billing, as NY style pizza, but no. Ordered a pie to go (along with salad and garlic "rolls")...opened the box at home...suprise!.... we had blackened pizza. Burnt blackened cheese. The "rolls"? Bricks. Cold garlic bricks. Into the garbage they went. The salad was ok. I'm disappointed as I'd rather support a mom-n-pop place over a chain, but this missed the mark.
amicos. i havent been into your store yet but i have heard very good things..italian food is in my blood so i hope my visit will be as good as everyone elses..my family has owned several pizzerias and i am very picky about my food..i will try to bring the family in soon! maybe even hire me as your pizza man!!! =]
Great Italian Food!. We have been to Amico's at least once a week since it opened. We have tried pizza, salads, pasta dishes and all their food is great! The food is always fresh, the service is outstanding. We highly recommend this restaurant to all our friends!
A Gem. Visited Amico's for the first time today. Wow... GREAT food. Best vodka sauce I've ever had, hands down. Will definitely be back very soon!
Hooked on Pizza. I must say the food, the owners and the atmoshpere are outstanding. I always look for the one-off restaurant that has a home touch to it and Nolensville has several. Traditional Italian pie's are thin with subtle flavors to accent the pizza, we have just been spolied by main line pizza places and expect a mound of toppings. I have had the traditional cheese pizza ( the only food my kids will eat the leftovers), meatball sub and eggplant parmigiana and all have been terrific. I applaud their efforts for having just opened and creating an immediate following and also providing an Italian experience here in little ole Nolensville. Keep up the great work.
STANDING ROOM ONLY! WORTH THE WAIT.. Being from New York and my Wife from Chicago made this long awaited expose emotionally satisfying and absolutely stunning. The food is killer. We have eaten there 3 times a week and more since the opening. The owner's bend over backwards to please even when we ask for Italy's obscure dishes like carbonara, Suicide Caprese and "Gravy" like Mamma made. There are no restaurants with the choices on the menu and off the menu anywhere within middle Tennessee that we know about. Don't miss this artistic and authentic offering. Amicos rocks. Portions are over the top and the cost is the cheapest in town. The negative reviews are just that. Meaningless, empty and ignorant about the art of Italian cooking. It's all about love and Amicos has it! It's an experience in Nolensville. Wow. Don't miss it.
skimpy pizza :(. I must say that the last thing i can stand is a skimpy pizza unfortunately that is exactly what i received from this restaurant. When you are paying roughly 20 dollars for a pizza with minimal toppings it is quite concerning. Maybe i was naive in my assumption that italian food was of generous portion size. i think the next time i will just walk to my freezer.
Im sorry for your bad experience. We have only been open for six weeks, and we are trying to train our staff as quickly and as fast as possible to our menu and our service standards. Sorry that you feel the pie was expensive, but we feel that we are the most inexpensive in town , for the quality that we use to prepare our food. My goal is to try please everyone , but I know that that is just impossible. If there is anything I can do to regain your business, please call and ask for me, Anthony, and I will try to make it right so your experience will be better next time. Thank you for your review.
Disapointed. Went to Amico's last night with some friends. We thought it might be pretty good since it's so hard to mess up Italian food. But I have to say that I agree with the posts that this place is not all that special. I mean, sure, if you don't want to take the time to make your own angle hair, then it will do, but the egg plant was overdone and the Stromboli was nasty. It might be "authentic" but that doesn't mean it tastes great... was very disappointed!
Im sorry for your dissappointing experience. I can assure you that we use the finest ingredients to prepare our food. I dont know what you meant by taking the time to make your own angel hair, as we dont serve angel hair. Our pastas are spaghetti , penne, and fettuccini. Our ultimate goal at Amico's is for everyone to have a memorable dinning experience. I know as a business owner you cant please everyone, but I can tell you I have alot of people tell us our stromboli's are delicious. If there is anything I can do to achieve a second chance, please call Anthony , and I will do whatever it takes to make it right. Thank you for your review, good or bad.
FINALLY !!! A REAL AUTHENTIC ITALIAN PLACE. Best place for good old pasta and sauce. great atmosphere, great staff. you can tell the owners are their making sure that the staff get it right. besides the pasta my kid had the kids pizza and she loved it. You can tell a lot of love and passion is put into their food .
Thank you so much for your review. I really appreciate it! My wife and I our working really hard to make this a family pizza place, with real pizza and real qaulity Italian dishes. Again thank you for your review.
