Taste Of Italy

Poor. I don't usually take restaurant reviews this seriously, but you really need to know about this one! A Taste of Italy on 4th Ave. in Nashville, TN was the worst place I have ever ate at. I should have been alarmed at the fact that when I went to wash my hands, there was no running water in the women's restroom. Next, the waiter had asked me what I wanted to drink- I replied- water with lemon. He later comes back and states that there is no water. I had to order a coke instead. The meal was bland and poor service. I probably wouldn't have got any service if the little boy waiting on my daughter's table hadn't passed ours to get her and her bestie refills. I had a Smartcard that said that we could get 10%- It's your Davidson County one-and they wouldn't honor it. There are no rescrictions listed on it outside of the fact that you had to use it at that location on 4th Ave. The Manager stated that it was only good Monday through Friday. That must be when the food is good also!

By the way, the owner AJ never called me back when I left my number about the complaint.…

Great pasta. Great little place to eat . The food was hot and seemed authentic (i've never been to Italy) BYOB, No cork fee If you don't have your wine with you there is a merchant in the same mall. I'll be going here instead of Olive Garden for a long time…

Superior in Every Way. Our first visit tonight will definitely not be our last. Service was excellent - every member of the staff was so friendly; pricing was a bargain and the food was outstanding. You owe it to yourself to visit soon.

I ordered the chicken piccata and my friend ordered the penne pasta with chicken, sausage and shrimp. Both were awesome. The bread sticks were yummy and hot and the salad dressings tasty and fresh.
