5-9-13 Hiller came out to preform AC and plumbing maintenance. There were no issues before they came, but major issues a few days later.
5-9-13 Steven with Hiller came to my residence to perform the summer maintenance on AC unit. There were no issues and had used AC prior to service. Steven stated I has major issues and that I would experience freezing up and that several things needed to be replaced:Dual Cap $197.00, Sig Cap $ 128.00, leak search $39.00 equipment coil $1700 + $2200.00. Since I was having no issues I told him no thank you. He had also stated that I should change from gas heat to electric and for the size of my home I have to small of a unit and I needed two units. I have never had an issue and have been the original owner.
A few days later I did in fact have freezing of the unit. I called One Hour heating and air conditioning that came out 5/15/13. I have pictures to prove that a cleaning of the unit was never done. Also the unit was Freon short. They put in the two pounds and did a leak check. They returned on 5/17 to find a screw a little loose and tightened it. No leaks were found in the system, I have had no issues since. Contacted Hiller 5/17/13 and requested manager/supervisor receptionist pressured for information and I finally gave the story. She stated that she had to look up my information and she said we went out for AC freezing up…UM NO! you came out to do maintenance it was having no issues at all UNTIL you left! Now it is freezing up.
I believe Steven maliciously let Freon out of my system and did not clean it. Furthermore I believe that his statements were misleading in an attempt to scare me into spending money that did not need to be spent. I was assured by One Hour that my system is large enough to cool my house and as it has in the past years it is cooling so you can hang meat in my upstairs..... Filed BBB complaint.
Bill was the technician that was sent last week to replace our PRV. Bill was very professional and took the time to educate us about the issues we were having with our hot water heater, what function the PRV served and some other concerns about our hot water heater that he uncovered. When Bill left our property my husband and I were so impressed with his service we knew that Bill would be 'our plumber' and the one we would request for all of our future services!

As a new Tennesseans, and new homeowners, we feel so blessed that we have a service provider that we can trust to always give us the best price and will treat our home repairs as if it were on your own home.
Hiller is simply the best! On time gives upfront pricing with great techs that do high quality work. Would not call anyone else. No one stand behind the work the do better.
Called after hours # in an emergeny. Lady told us she could send someone out at 6:00 AM, but then noticed we had them give us a quote to replace air unit 3 years ago. She asked if we still had that unit and we told her we had replaced it. She had the nerve to ask why we didn't choose them. we told her we got is much cheaper from someone else. she then asked "what are you on a fixed income or something?" HOW RUDE. THAT WAS NONE OF HER BUSINESS. So then she told it would be 4:00 PM. Wow - just because we ddidn't choose them - it went from 6:00AM to 4:00PM....WON'T CALL THEM AGIAN.
Very professional. – Hiller was very professional from the moment we called, up to the time the tech finished and left. Kevin explained everything before he started and again when he finished. I would highly recommend you ask for Kevin when calling Hiller.

I have rentals - corporates - and nothing is more important than happy & content clients.
I am going on my 5th year with Hiller & here are some facts & true events.
1) Sure, they have high prices but so does everyone else in this area & they are less than their competition. It's just expensive to maintain anything these days.
2) They are there for me - it seems like - 24/7, Saturday, Sunday, late evenings... They have come out & worked on emergency toilet issues til 10:30pm. In the heat of the crazy summer last year with a client with a new baby - they somehow fit us in - & got the AC fixed THAT NIGHT... even though the tech had to come late, after he should have been done for the day.
3) If they worked on it & it failed or a part failed - they get it taken care of, with no extra charges, right away.
4) They tell me up front what it's going to cost.
5) They have the part - whatever it is. I NEVER hear "well, it's gonna' take a few days..." Nope, fixed today! If it's not on the truck someone else is on the way with it. The only thing we ever had to order was a furnace.
With 6 rentals I am DEFINITELY a Happy Hiller Club Member & have been for 4 years & will continue to be! They have fixed &/or repaired, replaced toilets, water lines, water heaters, AC units, a furnace - you name it. We should have a frequent shopper card with these guys.
We found Hiller after a few unfortunate service calls with their competition first.
We lived & learned! And won't do that again.
They treat us well & we are happy to be faithful customers.
They are a big company - and they do have a lot of service techs...BUT the guys are honest & polite & they are honest & upfront. If they aren't knowledgable about something they will tell you & the office will send someone else out that can do it. AND they are not too big that they forget you.
I KNOW FIRST HAND.
Just be nice & tell them what you need.
The girls in the office are THE BEST!

Hiller Plumbing & Heating – I have employed the services of Hiller on three occasions, for plumbing and Heat-A/C issues. They're service tech's are always courteous, have a great attitude, and take pride in the work they perform.
They also protect the existing finishes and clean-up after they're done. Their office alsways does a follow up call to confirm your pleased, or not. I highly recommend them.
JOKE – high pressure sales, called for SERVICE so dont send a salesman disguised as a technician...these guys are under pressure to meet a certain $ amount at every call..how do you think they accomplish this ? thats right they have to SELL you something.. call elsewhere...the MANAGEMANT here are the ones that should be drug tested!!!!!!!!!!!
