Loved my experience! Lori O'Connor did an amazing job. All brazilians hurt, but this one was the least painful I've ever had. Go see Lori! She makes you feel at ease.

EAST WAX NASHVILLE. This place is THE BEST!! Having recently moved from Manhattan (home of the J Sisters!) I was desperate to find a great place to make my new waxing home. I sure found it at East Wax Nashville! They have created a very relaxing atmosphere with some great music playing in the background. The staff is outstanding! All are so accommodating and extremely professional. Missy, my esthetician is just fantastic. Missy does all my waxing and is also my Osmosis facialist. She is simply the best and highly recommend requesting her.

Was Nashville (Rochelle) Best Brazillian!!!. To all the ladies who have ever wondered "Can a plus sized woman get a brazillian?" Yes, we can!!! Just because we are big, doesn't mean we aren't Beautiful!

I spent years contemplating...

Getting a brazillian would be embarrasing to say the least but then factor in the additional embarassment of being big! Fear kept me committed to my razor, the uncomfortable stubble and constant ingrown hairs.

Allow me to say "Never Again!"

After reading rave reviews about Wax Nashville and Ro "one of the owners" I called and specifically asked if my size would be an issue?

I was reassured from that very moment that they wax all shapes and sizes, so I made my first apt and took the plunge!

I must admit I was a nervous wreck, I had no idea how the logistics would work. I worried that I would be too big, I'm 5'3 and a size 20. How was I going to accomodate Ro so that she could work her magic? How crazy was I to even attempt such a thing?

So here is my story:

I was advised to take two advil an hour before my apt (Do this! It made a huge difference for me.) When I showed up I was promptly welcomed and made to feel at home! As I waited for my apt. my plams were sweaty, I was very anxious and questioning my own sanity?!?!?!? I was caught completely off gard by Ro an extreamly friendly, bubby, gorgeous brunette who somehow made me forget I was nervous in the first place! She made me feel as if I had been doing this my entire life! Like we were old friends just catching up! I can not begin to explain how much of a relief it was for her to be so accepting of me. The process took about 30 min and to be honest I think the wax itself is more uncomfortable than the pulling. It was not painless but if I compared it to something I would compare it to having my eyebrows waxed...keeping in mind its obviously a larger area. In case your a big girl and your wondering about logistics...I had no issue helping to hold my skin taught, in fact I was surprised how little I needed to do...press lightly here, hold there honestly no big deal!

I am now a plus sized brazillian diva, If I am not waxed...I'm not happy!

I have been to both the Belle Meade and East Nashville. I enjoyed them both the staff is fabulos! I tend to enjoy East Nashville more but thats just because when I am done waxing I like to spend the rest of my afternoon downtown shopping! I can not speak highly enough of Wax Nashville, Ro or the rest of the staff!!!

This GUY survived it!!. O.K. from a guys view point, (o.k. an old man's), Don't think your too macho to visit this place and have some excess hair removed. Age has been cruel to me. Can't grow hair on my head cause it's all slid down to my back. I have shaved for years and had back waxing done on one occasion before but it seemed to be an awkward troublesome experience then. Read the reviews about WaxNashville and decided to give them a try. Booked on VERY short notice (same day within a few hours of appt.) and was able to set up appt. with one of the owners, Rochelle. Visited the East Nash. site. Place was exceptionally clean and very inviting. Upscale and classy without being stuffy or upity. Again, I'm a old balding man and I have had my fair share of feeling out of place, but this place made even me feel welcome. As for the treatment, Rochelle was very pleasant and very very kind. I can imagine how unpleasant it is to wax an old man's hairy back, but she tackled it with pleasantness and did a great job, all without unnecessary pain. Yes, it stings a little, but nothing like dramatic fits you may have seen on TV reality shows. Rochelle has a very professional way about her, yet still makes you very comfortable. I can now understand how people can go for the "full monty" at this place. They can make you so comfortable that you want to laugh at yourself, without them laughing at you. I will definitely return again and highly recommend anyone give them a try if you are in the market for body waxing of any sort.

Exceptional, professional service with a SMILE!. This place is great! I was a rookie at this whole waxing thing and these girls made me feel sooooo comfortable the minute I walked in the door. I had many questions since I had never had a waxing before and Kristin answered all of them without rushing me or making me feel uncomfortable. If you have never had a waxing before and are thinking about it I would HIGHLY suggest this place. Plus all the girls are super cute! :-)

HORRIBLE. The staff are SO RUDE! I will never go back. Why would I pay for someone to be rude to me? Additionally, the quality for the price do not match. Don't waste your time or money.

Ultimate Brows by Alyssa!. I LOVED my first experience at Wax Nashville. The environment is so calming, and they play great music. Can I also mention that everyone that works there is gorgeous??

I decided to try Wax Nashville because of their Ultimate Brows service, as I have been destroying my eyebrows for years now! I took a month to grow them out and then headed to Wax, hoping to finally be one of those girls with GREAT brows.

My esthetician, Alyssa, went above and beyond what I thought possible! Alyssa was extremely gentle and especially attentive to starting the process of getting my brows perfect. After some waxing and tweezing (and me looking 100% better), she recommended great, well-priced products to fill in patchy spots until we get my brows to their natural state (Try the Brow Booster!). I'll be back in a month to finish up...and then every time after that!

Visit WAX Nashville and get the Ultimate Brows service. You won't regret it. And while you're at it, make sure you ask for Alyssa because she really understands the power of eyebrows to transform/enhance your face and respects a woman's natural beauty!

Wax is THE place to go! Alyssa is amazing!!. For a little over a year, I've been hearing nothing but good things about Wax, as I have many friends who go there for all kinds of treatments. And although I've never been a spa-going, self-beautifying gal, I really did want to try it out. I felt, if anything, I needed a facial and an eye-brow waxing to look fresh for the springtime! Then I decided to throw in a brazilian wax due to the upcoming swimsuit season! Alyssa, who is the most genuine and sweet girl performed all three treatments for me (facial and eyebrows on separate occasion from brazilian), and I felt completely comfortable and at ease the entire time. She was VERY gentle, and her calm demeanor made the experience fantastic! I will never go anywhere else for these types of treatments. Wax is IT for me! Ask for an appointment with Alyssa if you want an awesome experience! (Although I'm sure all the other girls are wonderful as well!... They all seemed SO nice and happy to be doing what they're doing!)

Brook is the best!!!!!!. I cannot express enough how pleased I am with Wax Nashville. Brook is a true gem. If your search brought you here, look no further. I had my first Brazillian wax yesterday and I had no idea what to expect. Brook made a potential bad experience into the best. I would highly recommend Wax Nashville and Brook Sweet to anyone. I will certainly be going back.
