RIPOFF! They don't honor their gift certificates.. I received $100 in gift certificates to Rumors, specifically stating that they were valid for both locations. Apparently, these are now worthless, at least at the East Nashville location. The waitress rambled on something about divorce and expiration dates and stated that they simply weren't going to honor them.

They were paid in full for these certificates that have no expiration date on them. It is theft as far as I'm concerned for them to keep the money and not honor the certificates they were already paid for.

Interesting atmosphere!. Great food, service was a little slow & seemed flustered at times. Overall a great experience! Seemed a little too "trendy" for my liking. Defintly a "hot spot" to be seen in. Wear your nice clothes. :)

Loved the wines. My husband took me to Rumours, he knows I love wine and had heard about it at work. We enjoyed ourselves, the bartender was very knowledgeable and friendly. When we go out it is most of the time to eat a couple of steaks. So we go to Woody's Steak House which we found here on citysearch. So a change of pace was nice, light dinner with alot of wine.

Great outdoor seating. My friend, my husband and myself went to Rumours East last Friday night and had a great time. Great wine selection, great food and wonderful service. We sat outside and it was so pleasant. We will definitely be going back soon..

Great Experience. My friend has recently moved to East Nashville and so we've been exploring the non-chain eateries in the area. This place has great ambiance. It helps that the weather was amazing last night, low humidity and cool, so we were able to take advantage of the back porch which is lovely. There were flowers blooming, swings to sip wine in, and the building itself is an eyecatching shade of eggplant. My friend tried a standard on the menu, a pesto pasta dish, while I had two of the specials...a pear salad and pizza. I really liked the pear salad. Most salads seem to derive their flavor from heavy dressings while the flavor of this salad centered on fresh pear and grape slices. The pizza was a thin crust with tomatoes and artichokes. Usually I'm not a big fan of thin crust, but this pizza won me over and my friend enjoyed her pasta. One specific thing to note...when I eat I have the habit of picking meat dishes looking to protein to sate my appetite. At the end of our meal last night, my friend and I were surprised to realize we'd eaten vegetarian and were more than satisfied. Unfortunately they were out of "Elvis cake" last night, which was described as banana cake with a filling of peanut butter and cream cheese icing, but I intend to try that next time I visit.

Editorial Review. This wine bar offers patrons a menu of delicious food and wine by the glass they can enjoy either on the inside or outside dining area.

Low-key but still upscale. Every experience at Rumours East has been great - the service, food, and of course wine selection. It's a nice change of pace from the usual East Nashville bar scene. Definitely recommend for a quality night out.
