Free Alterations...HA!. The first and second visit to this shop was pleasant enough. They did not have the dress that my daughter liked in her size and so the owner said that she could order it. She did as she said and the dress arrived promptly, During the first fitting, I noticed the dress was a way larger size than she normally wears but figured there must be a reason, maybe for the length or the bust size. She offered free alterations however so I didn't really question the size of the dress. When we went in to pick it up after they altered it, the dress just did not fit right and the pleats at the top of the dress did not lay right. When my daughter complained about it, the owner kept saying that there was nothing she could do and that it was supposed to be like that. At one point she actually stepped away and when she returned, she accused my daughter of doing something to mess it up because it wasn't like that when she walked off. Basically she just does shoddy work and must not care about return customers...because she will never get my buisness ever again! Now I could have pitched one right then and there but after seeing how horribly she messed it up to begin with...I didn't want her to touch it again. I will just find someone that knows how to do alterations because she certainly does not!

DO NOT GO HERE!!!. I wish there was a review for 0 stars..

I shopped here for a wedding dress and mother of the bride dress. Our 1st experience was good, real friendly... well apparently it was all fake. I didn't find a wedding dress, but my mom decided to have the owner custom-make a dress for her. BIG MISTAKE. It took the lady forever to make it, and when she did, there were all kinds of problems with it. It looked horrible. Well we were polite and tried to ask her to fix the problems, and she went PSYCHO!! I have never seen a businessowner, or any employee for that matter, behave so rudely and unprofessionally. She yelled at my mother, a customer who was paying her, and told her she was being too picky, the dress looked fine. We could not believe it. Since leaving, we have talked with so many people who had similar experiences.

I cannot believe this woman is still in business, but I am sure it won't be for much longer.

Stay Away!!. Stay away!! Owner will tell you that she does alterations for free. Great huh? Well when my bridesmaids walked down the isle you could see her not so "GREAT" skills. Zippers were replaced with a complete different color than dresses. ALL of the bridesmaids dresses were 2 sizes to big because of her . I ordered them two months before wedding. Was she expecting them to blow-up in that amount of time? Not to mention some accessories of the dresses missing. BUT the thing that REALLY tops the cake: My Husband told me that while he was in getting his tux measurements done (alone), the owner approached him with a photo album of her SINGLE daughter's modeling pictures. Talking about how beautiful she is and how she needed a good man like my husband (then fiance). This woman( the owner) is disorganized and completely UNPROFESSIONAL in every way. FAKE SMILES DON"T HIDE WHAT YOU TRULY ARE!!!!!!!!! Please PLEASE Please do yourself a favor-STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!

Greatest Dress Shop in the Boro!. I have a Military Ball that I have been invited to, so I went online to look for shops in Murfreesboro. I came across A Special Touch and got the address to try it out. It is a small shop but I was very impressed with the honesty, selection and the help there. I found the perfect gown and they even do the alterations at no cost!! Huge savings! Thank you very much A Special Touch and to the employees! I will be back and I certainly will tell anyone that is in need of that perfect gown to come see you!

Great place! Beautiful dresses!. I had a wonderful experience. There is a young girl named Morgan. Ask for her, she is fabulous. I found my wedding dress almost immediately! The owner is sweet and did a great job altering my dress! They also have everything you could ever need for a wedding, it's a one stop shop! Hope this helps!

Horrible service!. While the owner seemed nice at first, it became clear that she was being patronizing to my bridesmaids. Some of them felt ignored for several minutes before they were helped. One bridesmaid had to go back twice for her alterations, because they forgot to do them. The owner couldn't remember where she put my flower girl dress, so she lied and told me that the dress was no longer being made (a week before the wedding). this was after my flower girl had been to the store to try the dress on. She ended up finding it in the back somewhere. She also lied to one of my bridesmaids, saying that the dresses came with either a shawl or a purse, but not both, even though all the other bridesmaids received both.

Owner is VERY disorganized and not as friendly as I first thought. I highly recommend that you use a different store for your purchases!

Wonderful service and selection. We found my daughter adk formal here, and for a small shop in murfreesboro, we were treated like we were in a high end shop in NYC, very nice owner, who went out of her way for us. Thank you very much.
