Great experience, great salon.. I am not sure what everyone else looks for when they visit a salon for the first time but I look for a stylist that can make a recommendation on current styles and can update your look. Bethany was recommended to me and I was totally pleased. She is friendly, smart and gives great advice on your personal style as well as how to get that wonderful salon look at home. I would highly recommend the Pink Mullet and especially Bethany! The atmosphere was very comfortable. I loved the samples at the front desk. Best way to test out those new products! Love the Pink Mullet and have already made another appointment! If you want style go to the Pink Mullet, if you want ART go to a museum!
Great service, just a boring place..
The service is great! Everyone there is very well trained, and trendy. They have no problem making a recommendation on current styles that fit your face shape, or holding an intelligent conversation, and they definitely enjoy their job. They are very reasonably priced, too!
My only problem with the place is that with a name like "Pink Mullet," I expected some cool decor or art in the place, not the bare walls and hollow room. I think Trade Secret in the mall has better decor (most likely ordered from an out of business auction for an old japanese food joint somewhere). The stylists look good, the place is just drab.
But, I guess you don't go to a salon to look at the decor.
Not that pleased.... I used to go to Pink Mullet when my current hairstylist worked there and she has now moved to salon P'Nash, I went back to Pink Mullet because I needed to use a groupon I had purchased a while ago when I was tight on cash and got what I paid for. The girl was nice but my hair is not in the best condition and I'm now back with my Stylist to get my hair back to being healthy.
Pink Mullet....LOVE 'EM.
I went to Ali, and she rescued me from my "frumpy mom" look I was stuck in. I so did not look like some one you would think would go to the Pink Mullet, but that is one of the great things about the place. The salon and the stylists look the part of a place that is more used to fashion models and rock stars than 27 yr old moms who are accountants. BUT once I sat down and started talking to Ali I didnt feel so outta place.
I used to be very adventurous with my hair but when I had my son I stopped doing anything to it. I actually started only getting my hair cut like every 6 months.
Any way Ali worked with me and gave me a cut that is both easy and mommy appropriate but edgy enough to satisfy my adventurous streak. My hair was down past my shoulders, and we cut it all off. Every one has LOVED the new look, and so do I! She has broken me of the frumpy mom curse, and I have already gone back for a trim! no more 6 months between hair cuts! I am even going back next week for color!

I have had PROBLEM hair my whole life. During my school years it was a great pleasure for the other children to make jokes about my frizzy, out of control hair. I spent most of my life hating my hair!! Even hiding it:(
Then I met Darla. She literally healed my hair and my spirit. She spent time learning about my needs and frustrations. It took a few sessions, as she pointed out, but finally I had hair I am proud of!!!!!!! She developed a color that is perfect for me. She gave me a cut that I can easily handle on my own. And amazingly I began to get compliments on my hair!!! Something I had never experienced before! It happens all the time now and it feels wonderful!
Darla and the team at the Pink Mullet are in tune with the latest and greatest styles, products, and color techniques. My hair always looks and feels wonderful now. It is healthy and extremely managable.
You will NOT be disappointed if you visit the wonderful, friendly professionals there. Don't be fooled by the couple of people that have maliciously entered comments because of immature childish games. The Pink Mullet Staff is friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable.
Take advantage of today's Groupon and I GUARANTEE you will be so glad you did!!!!!!!!
THOUGHT IT WOULD BE BETTER. I went to this salon hoping for something a little edgy, and more modern than what I had going on. I wanted more blonde put in and a cut that was more stylish. What I got was blonde highlights that totally washed me out. She took so much time with the highlights that she had none left to give me a decent haircut let alone something with some style or personality. All this for 250.00. I don't mind paying that much for great hair, but that high price for the finished product just sealed the deal...I will never go back!
AWESOME!!!. Ryan did a great job on my hair. I have gotten a ton of compliments on my new "do" and have been having fun referring friends to the Pink Mullet. Looking forward to the color treatment to see what else Ryan can pull out of his very talented sleeve!:) Thanks, Ryan!
Rude. I wanted to let everyone know that Domini and Sam who were the best that Pink Mullet had to offer is no longer there. Check out ther new place P'Nash. The Managers at Pink Mullet were always so rude to customers coming in. P'Nash is GREAT!!!! Go see Domini and Sam at their new place . LOVE IT!!!!!
Perfect Salon - will be back!. Sarah listened carefully to the different ways I wanted to be able to style my hair, and gave me exactly the haircut I requested. She suggested a few ideas to slightly improve my requests, which I took. The thoughtful, careful way that she shampooed, then cut and styled my hair was perfection. Well worth it! You will not regret going to this salon.
