Tips for Nero's Grill

Excellent place to eat in Nashville. My husband, son and I had dinner at Nero's Grill on a recent trip to Nashville. We had a great experience. From appetizer to dessert, the food was terrific and the service was exceptional. It was a very friendly and warm place. I especially like the bar area with the piano. What a lovely place. I would definately recommend going to Nero's Grill and will stop in again when we visit our son who attends college in Nashville.

All kids love Nero's Grill !!.
I had dinner this week with my family at Nero's Grill.
Three adults, and my 8 year old niece and 11 year old son.
My son , who does not like seafood at all, ate most of my entire crab cake dinner and almost all of his kids meal too ! My niece also cleaned her plate.
All of the food was very good and our server, Chance, was excellent. !
Judy, the owner, stopped by our table and made us all feel very special. Now, when we go out to eat and ask the kids where they want to go.... they all yell "Nero's please" !!

Greatest Restaurant In Town.
Its a Nashville landmark that I hope will last forever!
Great food, fast service and a welcoming atmosphere - what more could you ask for? Johnny Griswald continues the tradition of his Dad Nero, making sure every guest is treated like an old family friend and given only the best in food and service.
I will be back again and again!!

Good dinner.
Steak and biscuits were great. Sounded good so thought I'd try something new and I'm glad I did. Meat was cooked perfectly and how can you go wrong with a good biscuit.
Have to echo others here about the wonderful service. Mr. Griswold came by the table twice to check on our party and he made us feel like we were in his home. Thanks John, always a pleasure. We will be back soon.

Great place to visit with friends!. Each time I visit in Nashville I stop by Nero's. It has become a favorite to get caught up with friends! It is always consistent and we really enjoy the service! They greet you with a nice smile and make you feel welcome! I recommend it to all of my friends when they are passing through!

Business Meeting. Called Nero's to make a reservation for a business dinner. The hostess suggested a private dining room. The atmosphere was great. Everyone enjoyed their food I had the Buffalo Tenderloin and it was Amazing. My customers enjoyed being able to discuss business openly and we got the deal done. I'll be back .... Thanks

Nero's no more.
I thought the food was mediocre. The famous white bean soup from years ago was bland.
The fried oyster cocktail was soggy and tough.
Only 4 tables occupied at 7:00 on a Saturday night

Over rated.
The service was terrible and the food was not that great.
It isn't when you consider the pricing of their food. Definitely not on par with other restaurants in that price range. This has been the only recent dining experience where I regretted the time spent there and the money spent.

Mother's Day Buffet. The Mother's day buffet while containing abundant food choices, was extremely overpriced. Our bill was $175 with tip for 4 adults and 1 child, and we don't drink alcohol. I do enjoy dining there for lunch on occasion where the prices are much more in line with the quality of the food, but I will never return for Mother's Day.

You cannot go wrong with Nero's.
Nero's has become my favorite restaurant! I love the cajun bowtie pasta, and the rib rolls are amazing for lunch. The 10 In 10 Lunch Menu is perfect for me when I've got to get back to work. They promise to have those menu items out in 10 minutes, or it's free. And it's always been out in 10 minutes for me.
I think my favorite part is the staff though. They are so friendly. I go in there a lot and just say "What should I have for dinner?" and they have never suggested something that wasn't PERFECT.
I'll be back weekly, for sure.
