nice staff but the eyeglasses seem too much the same. I bought two pair of eyeglasses from See. I thought the stock was rather limited as far as variety of styles go..... One day one pair just broke -- the ear piece -- I have no idea why. Yes, the staff is great, but I'm not going back for a third pair.....…

The Ultimate!. I can"t say enough good things about SEE! The selection is amazing, and they buy stock in limited quantities, so your look stays unique to you. The prices also include a single vision lens, so you know the basic cost as soon as you try on that perfect pair. They also charge less for add-ons, like transitions lenses and anti-reflective coatings, than other optical shops both local and chain. Yes, their prices were even lower than the competitor's as well, by at least $100 or more in some cases, without sacrificing quality.

Finally, and most importantly, the staff is tops! Not only did Allison help me find my dream specs (after giving me plenty of browsing time first), they're genuinely concerned about how they fit and perform in the long term. They readjusted my last pair months after the purchase without a moment's hesitation and zero sales push. It's just a commitment to service that continues after the sale.

I've just treated myself to a new pair, though my last pair is still doing beautifully, and I'll keep treating myself at SEE for years to come!…

OVERPRICED- GO ELSEWHERE. This is just yet another trendy little spot nestled into Hillsboro Village that is so overpriced that unless you are concerned with your Vandy sorority sisters seeing you come out of here, dont' waste your time. The worst part is that even AFTER you pay for your overpriced glasses, you'll be disappointed b/c they're made really cheaply and you'll still have to go elsewhere to replace them! The Dr. is nice enough, but truly they're just offering what you can get at Image Optical in a bit more urban setting without nearly the experience of their competition, you'll pay just as much at both places!…

Great Experience. Located in hip Hillsboro Village, See had a great atmosphere, an excellent selection of "cool" frames (and more subdued ones as well) a friendly and competent staff and a great doctor. They people there made me feel comfortable and were fun to talk to, they helped me pick out the perfect frames and the doctor (Ben) knew exactly what he was doing and made what is usually a clinical experience into something more fun and relaxed.

After picking out my frames, I walked next door to Fido for coffee while I waited on my eyes to dilate.

The only downside I can think of is that the place is a little on the pricey side, but not outrageously so and this is certainly a case of "you get what you pay for".…
