boygott Fuji's. Do Not @ Fuji's in Rivergate. a friend of mine's daughter was there with friends last night, Fuji's denied the daughter (who is legally blind) and her site dog Fresca entrance into the restaurant. Aimee ( the daughter ) called the police, and they referred her to the ADA,and she will call them Monday(march the 12th),once told that she could not bring the dog in AImee presented a card from Fidelco(where she got Fresca from),she had been told it was all she needed to show if there is ever a question about Fresca being a working dog.THEY BROKE THE LAW . any place that does this will not get any of my business. They left and went to Kabuto's,where they were treated wonderfully. Aimee was told to come back anytime.
Tasty food, but bad on the stomach.. I absolutely love Japanese food! When I first found out about Fuji, I went several times with friends and family. However, the past 5 or 6 times I have gone, my stomach got VERY upset and I've had to go straight home afterwards. I always give it another try because I do like how the food tastes... the staff is very nice and they have a good sushi menu, but I'm thinking they load you up on MSG or something. My husband has gotten sick several times as well, and so have our best friends. We've finally given up on this place. If you want GOOD Japanese food and a happy tummy, go to Kabuto on Conference Drive instead.
WOW!!! This place is great!!. I was looking for a new place and you could miss this one....It is next to Crencor....WOW is what I have to say. This place is just awsome.....The filet just melts in your mouth like butter!! They make their sauces from scratch. The ginger dressing is wonderful. I loved the hot sauce it had a sweet heat taste great in your fried rice. They take great care of you from the moment you walk in the door. You never run out of drinks. The chefs really put on a great show. Lunch is the best time to go they have excellent quality meat. They do not over charge for any of the dinners. You get so much for your money here. This is my new favorite place to eat. They even offer the lunch prices on saturday.....They are way better than any other Japenese Steakhouse out there. I have tried every on in or around Nashville and they are simply the best!!!
Excellent hibachi style Japanese. Went with two friends and with my husband, who is very picky when it comes to food in general and ethnic food in particular - and had a great time. We were promptly seated and promptly served for both beverages and food. We got the edamame appetizer which was great, and two orders of the Tennessee special (steak, chicken, shirmp) with the salad, soup, veggies and fried rice that accompany most entrees. It was a tremendous amount of food at a very reasonable price.. The ginger dressing for the salad was wonderful, the soup was tasty, and the hibachi chef did a fantastic job, with both cooking and performance/interaction. My husband loved the spicy (plum?) sauce, and everyone agreed that the meat and veggies were delicious, flavorful, and well prepared. We did not try the sushi, though our tablemates did and seemed to enjoy it. It has been a few years since I've been to a Japanese steakhouse, and the experience at Fuji was better than I remembered. We will return soon and recommend it to any.
Best Sushi and Hibachi in Tennessee. Great Service Great Food and Great Value. Fuji offers a friendly atmosphere with talented chefs and fresh food. Fuji offers something for every budget from the value of the lunch menu to the early bird specials and the full menu all are good values for the quality of the food. Excellent fried rice and the sauces are all great. You can set at the sushi bar at a regular table or at and hibachi table.
Great food quality and great value. Overall great experience.. My wife and I are regulars at Fuji. We always receive quality food at a fair price. I would recommend it for anyone. If you want an exceptional value try it for lunch. The sauces are made fresh and the ginger dressing for the salad is perfect. It is worth the drive if you live outside of Goodlettsville.
